A very beautiful place. nice view out from the room. the staff is warm and friendly. The breakfast , restaurant dinners are top notch. beautiful property . we have a a great time here. a very comfortable and spacious room too.

This is a special property with unmatched views of the village of Montelpulciano and Tempio San Biagio. The village of Montofollonico, where the hotel is located, is off the beaten path but close to all the attractions of southern Tuscany. The staff are fantastic.

The Val d'Orcia landscape is as beautiful as everyone says, and Villa San Sanino is positioned to make the most of it — wonderful views, and the pool was a real pleasure. This is a family-run place, and it shows in the best way. Bianca welcomed us warmly, served all of our meals, and wrote out a list of nearby restaurants and sights, every one conveniently located and worth the trip. Her brother Giacomo was just as helpful, coordinating our reservations and pointing us toward wonderful local restaurants and wineries. The food, cooked by their mother, was some of the best we had anywhere in Italy, and they kept a lovely selection of wines available on the property. The villa itself was restored by their father, an engineer, and you can feel it — the work was clearly done by someone who knew what he was doing, yet it has kept its authentic, historic charm. Throughout our stay it was wonderfully easy to reach them on WhatsApp — to order a drink by the pool, ask about the food, or anything else. They even did some laundry for us quickly and without fuss, which was a real gift halfway through a two-week trip. What we appreciated most: we didn't want to feel underfoot, and we didn't want a big, crowded resort — this was the perfect alternative. Everything was easy, and it was easy to relax and simply enjoy being here. We can't recommend it highly enough.

I can't say enough good things about Nobilis Charme Relais! From the moment you enter the gates, you know you are entering somewhere special. It is located just outside the town of Montepulciano on spacious grounds of an old farmhouse. The staff was very welcoming and went to lengths to make our stay a special one. They arranged dinner plans, winery tours and gave us suggestions of other worthy towns to visit. The breakfast was outstanding and deliciously started off our day of exploring the Val d'Orcia. The views from our room provided more photo opportunities than I'd like to admit, Sunrise over the valley was sacred, the views of the Montepulciano old town on the hill in the afternoon sun was charming, and the night time skies were hard to look away from. The room was rustically Tuscan decorated, yet spacious and modern in every way. We can't wait to come back to see the lavender field they were planting in full bloom. NCR was the best way to end our Italian adventure. We will definitely be going back!

The location is so ideal to see so many parts of Tuscany. It feels like your very own private villa as the views and grounds are just beautiful.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful accommodation in the historical center with a cracking view and nice little garden we could use.

From the moment we booked, Renata’s communication was immediate, warm, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond in every way—offering a long list of wonderful local restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. We ate at the Restaurant la Chiusa - it was UNBELIEVABLE food, service , and views!! WOW! Renata was incredibly generous with every requests and was very accommodating. Even when we had trouble getting in the gate, her father came immediately to assist. He showed us around the house - such a very lovely man! Her kindness and generosity truly stood out. She made sure the house was stocked with items that one would typically need in a kitchen and bathroom. Everything was perfect, and her hospitality was unmatched. I highly recommend staying here and would gladly return again.

It was plenty of space to spread out and relax. Wonderful place to rest. I loved having my coffee on the balcony.

Very nice property well maintained. With all the confort you need. The house is made of stones and bricks located in a wonderful village close to many wonderful place to visit. You must have a vehicle to cover more areas outside village if your stay is long.

Claudio was a very welcoming host who provided a large breakfast with a variety of food and drinks to choose from each morning. Montefollonico is an idyllic, quiet Tuscan village just a few minutes drive to some of the larger, better known tourist towns in the area. There is a market, pharmacy, and coffee bar a short walk from this B&B for any other vacation needs. I would love to visit and stay here again!

I had always dreamed of seeing and experiencing Tuscany, and staying in Abbadia was everything I could have wished for and more. From the moment we arrived, the place took our breath away. For the very first time, we felt that the accommodation looked even better in real life than in the photos. The property is stunning, full of peace and calm. What makes it truly special are David and Sarah – such warm, genuine people whose energy makes this place unforgettable. 🙏 We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, but trust me, this place is magical.

The place is breathtaking. If you really want to experience the real Tuscany experience, this is the place to stay. Fabricio and Ines are amazing hosts. Everything you need, you just need to ask. The place is divine with so much greenery and gorgeous landscapes, you are 10 min from Piensa and 15 from Montelpucciano. And the food in their cozy restaurant is the best food in Italy. We will definitely come back. This was our favorite place in Italy. Thanks so much Fabricio 🙏 for making a paradise for us.

We loved everything about our stay at the Agriturismo Belagaggio. Angela helped us prior to our stay figure out transportation to the Agriturismo due to us traveling by foot. She arranged for us to have a cooking class that included wine and behind the scenes in the kitchen with Nonna Ada who cooks pasta daily for all the guests showing us how to make Tagliatelle and Pici pasta, then Antonella the owner showed us how to make Ragu + Cacio Pepe from scratch. We also made our own Tiramisu which came out wonderfully delicious. They also offered us a free upgrade to a larger room that included a luxury spa hot tub in the room. They arranged for us to rent a vespa and created an itinerary for visiting the local towns (Pienza & Montepulciano). Along with Spritzes and bottles of wine available on the terrace at any time. It was a wonderful and memorable stay and I cannot recommend them enough. We hope to go back someday!
