Where to start with our stay at Tilakaz, it was WONDERFUL. The location was amazing, the beach was really close to the cabine. There was enough space and the terrace was large and comfortable. Tilakaz had all the needed amenities for a nice stay, and there is a cleaning service coming everyday. The view of the beach is 10/10 and very beautiful. Pascale and Gérard are exceptional hosts, they were always available for questions and to help us out. We felt really welcomed and got the Mauritian spirit. Looking forward to staying there again.

Small B&B, one of the owners told us it has just three rooms for guests. Our room was huge and beautiful and had two balconies - we liked to call it the Val Kilmer room because of a painting on the wall… Lots of interesting woodworking and cool features all over the property. Bed was comfortable. Shower not the hottest or best, but it was fine. Great breakfast and convenient location close to the airport and walking distance to the public beach, on a quiet part of the island. Overall we really loved our stay at Chez Henri and would happily stay there again, highly recommend.

Quiet location, very leafy garden, warm hosts, We had spent some days in the East in an upscale resort, so it was nice to get an authentic Mauritian experience as a cherry ontop. Brigette was an amazing host who made us feel like we should have spent more days; she was like the aunt I wish I had. We had to check out at 3 am to catch our flight, and she was awake waiting to hug us goodbye. We loved the place.

Everything about the property was above expectations. It is an apartment so we did not expect a restaurant although many were nearby so this is not a problem at all. We had the whole second floor to ourselves, it was spacious and spotless. Host Noel lives above and makes sure to address all questions and concerns promptly. A truly wonderful Mauritius experience. I would highly recommend this.
