Excellent location for budget travelers wanting to explore the heart of Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the market, small shops and banks (MCB, Absa). Within walking distance to the Mauritius Post Office Headquarters, Caudant Waterfront, Postal Museum, Aapravasi Ghat, Intercontinental Slavery Museum, the US Embassy and light rail/metro. The hotel is clean, simple/minimalistic, no fluff.

I really like everything about Citadelle Mall.

The best thing about our stay, hands down, was the staff. John and his team are simply fantastic and took great care of us. They made sure we had everything we needed. John gave us some great suggestions on places to go, and the executive chef, Hondo, even gave us a cooking class! Our room was clean and comfortable, with air con, a refrigerator, a hot water kettle, desk, and large bureau for our clothes and luggage. The property is a short drive from Port Louis, and there is a fantastic view of the city at sunset from the rooftop deck. Proximity to the ocean also means nice breezes, especially in the restaurant and on the top deck. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was fantastic and the sous chefs were also very generous with their cooking knowledge. We were very sad to leave, but John even made that easier by arranging our airport transfer.

The booking.com didn't helped me to locate the hotel since the contact address to reach out champ de Mars apartments was that of the contact address to champ de Mars B&B.which really cost me a day booking before getting the manager of champ de Mars apartments

Having 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets. While the kitchen and living rooms - which were in an open floor plan - did not have an A/C unit, turning on the bedroom units and focusing an included fan allowed for cooling the entire apartment. Finally, the hosts (Krish and his father) were most gracious and accommodating starting at our arrival at the airport, transferring us to the apartment and, at the end of our stay, transferring us to the port for fees a Lipitor less than that of other private transfer services.

Everything is perfect ! It’s truly the BEST place to stay particularly if someone wishes to stay at it around Port Louis area. As well the owner so kind & very welcoming !

This hotel met my expectations. It’s a no frills location close to all the things to see in Port Louis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While the rooms are a little frumpy it was nice to have access to a refrigerator. The AC worked great too. The included breakfast wasn’t anything special but it’s nice to have it as an option.

the apartment really big size,3 bedrooms ,all very clean, the stuff was helpful.only a few minutes walk can get to city center,lots a restaurants nearby.

The host is kind, helped me with things and recommendation. The entire floor is for me to use. The bathroom is clean. The price is good, but I didn't see Air Conditioner. But there's a fan for the exchange of AC.
