Everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded expectations. The island is beautiful, well-maintained, and surrounded by stunning turquoise water. The beach and lagoon are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The room was very comfortable and clean, with daily housekeeping done to a high standard. Facilities are well organized, and everything you need is easily accessible. Staff were consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful - always with a smile. You really feel taken care of. The location is excellent: close to Malé, yet it feels peaceful and private. Food quality and variety were great, and overall the resort offers very good value for the experience. Would happily return and confidently recommend Bandos Maldives to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-run island resort.

I have no idea where to start from.. staying at oaga was my first time experience in Maldives and I’m so so glad we chose this resort for our honeymoon.. i have traveled to so many countries but never felt so looked after how much i felt at oaga. The staff was super helpful,kind and accommodating to our needs. The food options and taste were delicious. The activities we had in all inclusive offer like snorkeling, jet-ski, fun tube, sound healing session, art class, dj night, fishing, sunset cruise, literally everything was perfect to keep us busy for 5 days. The spa was a-bit pricey but you’re at Maldives u can’t expect home town prices here so i loved the massage, we did it twice from hoba spa. Our voyage villa was super cozy clean and comfortable. The room service was good. I will definitely recommend this resort to everyone 😇

Absolutely outstanding property in idyllic spot. Very private. At full capacity but never crowded. Food was especially good. Shout out to Mikael the chef. The best thing is the service. Staff is OUTSTANDING. Diving, snorkeling are outstanding. New Year’s party so much fun. The staff are the best.

The natural habitat of the island is simply breathtaking. Even though the reefs around the resort are not fully alive, the combination of turquoise and deep blue waters with the white sand creates an impeccable scenery. The walking paths under the trees are beautifully landscaped and make the island feel peaceful and authentic. We even encountered rare flying fox bats, and watching manta rays visiting the crystal-clear waters beneath our villa was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. One of the things we loved most was the silence and privacy. Most of the time, we felt like we had the serene beaches completely to ourselves, which made the experience incredibly relaxing. The speedboat transfer was also perfectly organized and extremely comfortable. Reaching the resort so quickly and smoothly after arriving in Malé made the whole experience stress-free and convenient. The food and beverage quality — both the service and the cuisine itself — exceeded our expectations. There were many different cuisines available for every taste, and the à la carte restaurants were excellent. Kaage was especially memorable, with its authentic atmosphere and truly Michelin-level dining experience. The hospitality of every single staff member was amazing. Housekeeping cleaned the room twice a day according to our schedule and activities, and the minibar and amenities were constantly refreshed and replenished, sometimes even twice daily if needed. We stayed in an overwater villa with a pool, and waking up to that view every morning, followed by a swim in the ocean, felt absolutely priceless. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a classic Maldivian wooden style that feels warm and elegant at the same time. This was our first time in the Maldives, so perhaps there are even more luxurious resorts out there, but we truly fell in love with the sincere, natural, and understated beauty of VARU.

The view from the room was beautiful. Trees and flowers all around you. A private beach, not crowded at all, silence and the sound of waves and birds. A little piece of paradise.

The resort: small and peaceful, mostly couples and families. The villa: comfortable and clean, quiet at night. The staff: from welcoming to departure, all the staff members have been nothing but friendly and helpful. Many thanks to all them! The restaurants: the food was tasty, the selection excellent and changed frequently. The water sports: top notch snorkeling and diving. You can borrow snorkeling masks and fins for free at the diving center for the whole duration of your stay. The bar: laid back, live music most nights, excellent service.

A wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly welcoming. We were lucky enough to receive complimentary airport transportation, which truly felt like VIP treatment. Combined with the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful Maldivian surroundings, it made the stay even more special and unforgettable.
