I had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at this hotel. The location right on the beach was absolutely beautiful and made my vacation even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The customer service was excellent, and I truly felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my experience so special. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Absolutely everything was great! I've stayed at several resorts in Zanzibar and so far this is the nicest place for the price under $100/night. Which is within my budget & I received a discount also.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Alexandra with the biggest smile, instantly making us feel at home. She was so warm and kind, and that energy carried through the entire staff—every single person we encountered was amazing. What really stood out was the presence of the owners, personally walking around, chatting with guests, and making sure everyone was happy and cared for. That level of attention gave the whole stay such a special and personal touch. The location and hotel itself are absolutely stunning—a true little piece of heaven. The design is beautiful, the facilities are top tier, and everything feels thought-out to perfection. And the food? Simply incredible! So fresh, high-end, and absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the Carbonara—it was outstanding. We stayed for five magical days, and leaving was truly bittersweet. But one thing is for sure: we will definitely be back! If you’re considering where to stay in Paje, do yourself a favor and book Lujo—you won’t regret it.

The vibes were really simple, clean, pleasant to be there. Small property but such a diverse place! Malon, Josie and Lu were the kindest, friendliest people I’ve met in a hotel.

Location was just opened, everything is new and very comfortable, good location close to the beach. Staff was very nice and the owners involved in the business, which is very nice to see!

Located at the best part of Paje beach. Quiet surroundings full of palms and tropical plants. The hotel feels like a hidden oasis. I especially appreciated the private garden and peaceful mornings.

No mosquitos in June, amazing location, you should stay here if you don’t plan to go to bed early.

Paje by Night was our absolute favourite during our travels around Zanzibar. The accommodation not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every way. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, equipped with comfortable leisure furniture, a pool, and various sports activities. The restaurant served excellent food, and the staff were particularly warm and welcoming. The beach is only a three-minute walk from the accommodation, which was very convenient. One of the main reasons we chose this place was the availability of yoga classes. As a semi-professional yogi, I was initially slightly concerned about the level of the classes, but I’m happy to say that my experience fully met my expectations. Three classes are offered daily, with great variety and quality.

Excellent location and beautiful room. Quiet, only a short walk to the beach and set in a gorgeous tropical garden. Best breakfast we had in Zanzibar and friendly and helpful staff.

We loved Mambo Leo! Tatu was so lovely and it really felt like home. Our room was comfortable and clean - Tatu worked all day to keep the whole place spotless. We had stayed elsewhere in Paje before, and this was exponentially better for half the price. We loved staying in the village, it was quiet and felt more authentic, with access to tons of cheap, delicious local food. The wifi is also insanely fast!! This is the sweetest, homiest, quietest place in Paje!

It is 3-5 minutes to beach and the room was spacious and we had good amenities. It was as well very close to center, restaurants and shops. We had possibility for early check-in that helped a lot. Also the communication went very smooth.

The Hotel has a very good location, and beautiful Garden, the moment you enter the Hotel you feel yourself in a different zone in Zanzibar! They serve a daily breakfast with different options, their team attendance was supper friendly and professional all the time.
