Wow! This was the most amazing experience I've had in Japan. Self-service check-in, a kitchen, a brand new room, and modern design.

Very convenient to everything in Kotohira. A bit of a walk from the train stations but next to shops and the start of steps up to the temple. Nice bicycle storage area! They didn’t seem familiar with takkyubin process but they took the time to learn it and got our big suitcase sent off to KIX. Bunk beds allowed three adults to stay in one room. A family of four would fit also.

Just a 11-minute walk from Sumiyoshi-taisha Temple and 0.6 miles from Chichu Art Museum, O K n a o s h i m a p r i v e features accommodations in Naoshima with a garden.

It was a charming property. We loved the ambiance of the Japanese ryokan with excellent proximity to the port and bikes can easily be stored on the property. The management was friendly and everything seemed easy to navigate in the home with English labels. Thank you for this amazing experience of comfort and culture. Highly recommend this property.

Traditional stay in a place in the heart of the town center. Comfortable tatami, room was spacious and nice. Bathroom is a shared one but was very clean. Check in location was a few stores down from the accomodation so be aware of that as I was initially confused. Note that there's no elevator so not ideal if you have a huge luggage. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will choose this place if I visit again.

Very cute and big hostel. The facilities were great and offered very cheap laundry (which is rare)! The beds were very comfortable and the space for each person was big! Very kind and friendly staff that helped to show us around. Shower area was also one of the best I’ve been to.

The owner and his family are so kind and lovely and the house itself has everything you will ever need. Shame we only stayed one night

Our last accommodation was a 13 sq. meter hotel room. The Yellow House was like a mansion after that accommodation with a kitchen, 3 beds, living room, and washing machine. We even had the use of two push bikes. The fridge was loaded with bread, fruit, butter, jam, and yogurt. What a treat! What a gracious host!
