Our apartment was located in a position with views across the Cullen Bay marina and some ocean views. All the facilities in the apartment were satisfactory and the air conditioning was absolutely great. Staff were very friendly and most helpful when needed.

Great location, excellent rooms with lounge, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and balcony. Pool was nice with pool noodles supplied as an added bonus. 2 beers in the fridge on arrival - assuming these were part of the deal which was an amazing surprise, thanks.

This little resort is a tropical island only 1 1/2 from...

This little resort is a tropical island only 1 1/2 from Darwin. There is 10km of well maintained road as you arrive, we did this easy after and during heavy rain. We were upgraded to a beach front room, which are basic but the only time we were in them was to sleep, because we were either sitting on the balcony with stunning views, in one of the 2 pools, feeding the residents animals, eating and drinking at the restaurant or fishing. The staff are very friendly and we could have stayed so much longer. You can hire a boat or bring your own. Camp or stay in the new luxury villas. We were lucky enough to catch so many fish from the shore, its a fishermans haven. Our highlight was watching a crocodile swim past whilst enjoying our complementary breakfast.

The weather was perfect (August) so made walking around easy...

The weather was perfect (August) so made walking around easy. The Botanic Gardens are beautiful. We enjoyed the museum. Casuarina shopping centre was nice to saunter around. Lake Alexandra and the beaches are beautiful and the Mindil Beach market with its delicious selection of food trucks rounded off our Thursday evening perfectly. I also had to pay another visit to Crocodylus which never fails to amaze me.

We travel to Darwin every two years and find it the best...

We travel to Darwin every two years and find it the best place. There is lots of history about Darwin from being bombed in 1942 to Cyclone Tracey in 1974. The weather in July is fantastic and if you go and explore out to Litchfield and beyond the waterfalls and swimming holes are great. Definiteley recommend.

Loved Darwin, temperature was beautiful.

Loved Darwin, temperature was beautiful. Trip to Lichfield great. Loved the waterfront. Crustations on the wharf is fantastic and not to be missed. Just go and visit you will absolutely love Darwin.
