Reception lady Mel was very helpful,friendly and her customer service was 10+, previous ladies working at reception weren't as nice as Mel so a big Thank you Mel.made me feel welcomed, open to conversation and just down to earth love the atmosphere .

The staff were very friendly and the room was really nice. The low reviews I read prior to arriving did worry me. But when I checked in and entered the room it was very nice and clean with a spacious bathroom. The room was a good 40 second walk to the pub for a nice cold drink. Had no safety issues with my stay here at the Broken Hill Hotel.

Perfect location. Close to Coles and walking distance to Woolworths, tourist bureau and Hannan Street. Able to walk to the races. The apartment was clean, modern and quiet. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative.

We took a scenic flight over the pit. Highly recommend the flight!
Great service. The pilot was amazing and very informative about everything. Also very friendly.
The Irish pub was our Favorite place for meals and a quiet beer.
We found Boulder easy to find our way around.
The only thing I would avoid, unfortunately, is the accommodation we stayed in.
We ended up in Unit 2. As we were informed whilst we were driving on our way there, that unit 3 was now unavailable.
As we drove in the driveway, the appearance from the outside told us we were not going to like it. The entire place was filthy :-(
Couldn't use anything in the kitchen without washing it first.
The oven had never been cleaned.
The lounge had rips all along the front & the a/c filters were filthy
Beds very un-comfy and carpets were badly stained all over.
Blood stain on bed sheets and dirty laundry in washing machine.
Bathroom was filthy, big rust mark on floor of bath ... I was afraid of catching a fungal infection.
Not to mention the "clean towels were dirty!!
We were given the incorrect password for wi-fi, so my husband missed 2 days of the World Cup ... not impressed at all.

We didn't have a favourite place, everything was so interesting with much history. Only had time to eat at 3 hotels, the meals were excellent, the Exchange, Palace and York. Go to Gwalia and stay overnight (or more) at Hoover House, an experience you'll never forget, organise a tour with Good as Gold Tours, we can highly recommend them

Water from shower went all into the floor as one level. Towels very poor. One towel had bleach strains all over it. K mart is in towel would pay to invest in new linen. No garden to sit out. Even our small dog wouldn't use it to do its business. A big bowl on rusty table full of cigarette buds. Needs a new cleaner and maintenance

Kalgoorlie is such an integral part of Western Australia's...
Kalgoorlie is such an integral part of Western Australia's history and not to be missed to get a feel for country life. Loved the tour of the Superpit with Kalgoorlie Tours, doing our own 'pub crawl' experiencing the old pubs, a peak into previous brothel life at Questa Casa and just walking around town. We travelled by The Prospector train from Perth - a 9 hour trip enjoying the changing scenery on the way and a reasonable price. It makes you realise the vastness of the state.

Very engaging city from a history perspective, current mining operations and the historical buildings. Recommend the mining museum and the City Hall tours of Kalgoorlie/Boulder and Coolgardie. For a special trip visit the Broad Arrow Hotel north of Kalgoorlie
