Our stay at Churchill Cottage was very relaxing. It was clean, neat and well appointed. Everything you needed was there. It was wonderful staying in a fully restored century old Queenslander. Our hosts Jackie and Daryl were very professional and friendly making our stay hassle free.
Would definitely recommend and this is the only place we would stay in Maryborough.

I stayed at the Kimba Lodge after a trip out in the bush. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and service of this motel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and had a nice view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel also has a pool and a restaurant next door which were great. The location is convenient and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for an over-night quality stay in Barcaldine. It was a great value for money and a pleasant experience. Thank you Kimba Lodge for making my trip easier and more enjoyable!

Perfect location close to everything we needed during our stay. The accommodation was very clean with a spacious bathroom, great for families. Lots of off-street parking available and fast internet access. Keypad entry meant that we didn't have to juggle keys.

The only thing i was not very happy with is the lighting in the bathroom is was a small wall light and was very dull and dark in there

We arrived after a long day of traveling and wanted to find somewhere to have dinner. The streets were vey dark and pubs and clubs looked like they were closed or not operating.
Couldn’t find anywhere decent so drove out to Tinana to the pub out there.

I met some amazing and compassionate people in Maryborough.
I met some amazing and compassionate people in Maryborough. We were there for a funeral and wanted to explore at least one thing. We chose the Mary Poppins museum called The Story Bank. Absolutely wonderful experience and you can loan a backpack with noise cancelling headphones and fidgets for your high functioning child/children. It was a blessing. The staff there were also amazing. Even had a lovely staff lady check on us half way through to make sure everything was ok. Above and beyond excellent customer service.
The only negative was going to Woolworths of an evening and having to steer my children away from an aggressive man in the shop that acted as if he had substance abuse. Staff there did what they could to keep customers away from him.
