It was pretty easy to find, used MAPS.ME instead Google maps. Hotel was also conveniently placed to avoid all traffic jams. Rooms were quite ok, previous travellers’ reviews said quite enough, nothing adding to that.
Air conditioning was also a nice touch.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had a fantastic stay at Guest House Savana Plovdiv. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Spacious & well maintained room; the hotel is clean, well organized and with gated parking. The breakfast was a nice touch, especially in my situation where I had to leave early and didn't have to think about it.
Keep in mind if you're coming for Plovdiv sightseeing it's just outside the city, you'll have to drive to downtown, but even then it's a good alternative.

What a great family run hotel. Our apartment for 4 was big, clean and had all the amenities you need, just bring shampoo with you.
We booked here for the pool and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It had a shallow side for toddlers and a deeper end for the older kids and adults. There was a great little pool side bar for when you get thirsty.
Breakfast came with 5 options to pick from and we were very satisfied, left with our bellies full.
I will be coming back here next time I am near Asenovgrad, 10/10!

Asenovgrad is a pleasant town, with a river running through the middle, a nice park & many beautiful churches. The main attractions for us were nearby Bachkovo monastery, (the 2nd biggest one in Bulgaria), & Asan fortress. In both locations there are many interesting hiking trails.

Plovdiv is a vibrant, colourful and exciting city, a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern city. The people are very friendly and helpful and are happy to accommodate the right type of tourism. There always seems to be something to do, You can visit ancient archeological sites in the morning and go out clubbing in the evening. The food options are varied, plentiful and excellent value with servers only too willing to provide menus in English, tipping is not compulsory but with a minimum wage in Bulgaria of 3.74 euro a tip is greatly appreciated. I have visited Plovdiv on three different occasions and have been totally made to feel at home.

Asenovgrad is changing rapidly, new buildings generally look really good.
Sign Communication and rubbish collection needs to improve. As does an explanation of how to get to eg pamporovo.

two people 9 leva as you would expect lost of steps put all had safety railings you will need to Google the history of the forte and church as on site information is limited

This wasn’t my first visit to Plovdiv, and I always enjoy coming back. Walking through the streets of the Old Town is a wonderful experience—the atmosphere is charming, the architecture is beautiful, and it’s amazing to be surrounded by so much history. It feels like you can truly touch the past while exploring the city.
