Very cute, clean, and comfortable little home. The entire unit was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked and very clean. The air conditioning was excellent and cooled the whole place quickly, and the wifi worked great. The owners were incredibly kind and thoughtful. They came by to visit, cooked eggs for us since the unit does not have a stove, and even lent us some ketchup. The location is easy to get to, only about 15 minutes from the airport, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. We would absolutely stay here again.

Their rooms are super nice and brand new. We loved that they offered a nice full sized shower, free wifi, a TV, fridge, stove, plates, cookware,etc. They really blew our expectations especially because we were fighting to find a safe place to stay during hurricane/tropical storm Sara. They even went so far as to drive us to the grocery store so we could have some food and drinks. Absolutely the nicest people we have ever met in Belize! Their property is so beautiful with a river with tilapia and turtles!!

Everything!! Kenny and Shanna were the most amazing hosts! Could not have asked for better guides. Plus their sweet little girl is an excellent bonus guide. The house was so cute. We had fun riding the bikes around to see things and eat at the nearby restaurants.

Belize City needs love.
Belize City needs love. We were disappointed in the conditions of the sidewalks. Tourism is the major draw, however they city is not walk friendly. Not from people harming you, it's you falling in the holes and unevenness of the sidewalk. The city offers a perspective that can be appreciated if you can foresee growth. 2 days is enough time, anything else is too much.

The city itself is not attractive. It’s a typical city, (noisy, trash on the streets, busy ) and to that add the extreme heat and not much to do as a visitor. All the attractions are out in the islands or inland.

Belize City exceeded my expectations.
Belize City exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we were greeted by the most enthusiastic, welcoming, attentive travel staff. This travel experience was much more than a mere vacation, it was a lifestyle reset. Belize City has so much rich history and culture.
My favorite spots were anywhere on Caye Caulker island (The Split, Lazy Lizard, Sip and Dip and Bliss Beach). The Tiki Sunset Boat Ride was phenomenal. There was so much activities to enjoy on Caye Caulker ranging from tarpon feeding, scuba diving, and swimming with the stingrays
We enjoyed dinner afterwards at Swings. The deep fried FRESH snapper was delicious.
Our lodge at The Anchorage and Hummingbirds Cabin was the icing on the cake.
And the LOCALS made this the most amazing experience. Please Belize I will return soon.

This hotel is cute, comfortable, secure and offers a great breakfast. We were only there one night prior to our flight out of BZE with no car so not sure what there is to do close by. Very easy from the port to get to the hotel. Very walkable but due to heat we chose to arrange a ride with the the hotel. Loved the pools. Staff was super helpful and friendly and rooms were really nicely kept. If in Belize City again, I would definitely stay here.
Very short drive from BZE airport. A wonderful oasis of trees, shoreline, and amenities in a natural setting just outside the rather ugly/sketchy Belize City. Great value, friendly welcoming staff. A really neat property on the ocean and the river, with mangroves, palms, birds, lizards, and friendly pups. Pool was nice, and free kayak use was a great perk. Onsite restaurant was able to provide gluten-free for one celiac in our group. Also staff was helpful arranging airport shuttle and SUV rental for us.
