The setting at Tropical Magnolia is stunning…. lush tropical vegetation envelop the beautiful cabanas which are linked by a raised walkway covered with thatch. The well-established trees and gardens benefit from more than 25 years of care, while the cabanas and main lodge are newly constructed, having been built from teak harvested from the nearby Spice Farm. The woodwork is truly exceptional! Each cabana has an outdoor shower as well as on indoor shower in the bathroom.

Room very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Even had paper Towels which I find a lot of places in central and South America don’t provide. The owners were friendly and super helpful. I had a food tour and didn’t set my alarm correctly so I was running late. The owner asked one of the staff to drive me to my destination. You can rent a half cart from the owners. Most people do rent but walking into town was easy . I walked most of the time.

The property was tastefully decorated, clean, secluded and I’m sure many would pay double the price to stay there. The view from the top terrace was a beautiful 360 degree view with a wonderful sunset. Aldo and Colleen went above and beyond. Ricardo couldn’t find his wallet the day we checked out. Aldo got on his bike and raced to catch us before we left, it was found under the sheets. We are forever grateful for their honesty and integrity. Ricardo had money to buy some more beer for the rest of his trip!!

From the second I arrived, I felt like a VIP but in a totally relaxed, "welcome home" kind of way. The staff doesn't just provide service; they provide curated experiences. The grounds are lush, quiet, and perfectly scaled for travelers who value privacy and a zen-like atmosphere. The beach is pristine; rugged beauty just steps from your door. I spent mornings watching the sunrise in total solitude—pure coastal bliss.

Due to a leak in our room from the high winds and rain we were upgraded to a room with a full kitchen and living space. Also it had a large balcony with a view of the water. It was great to have all the extra room and cooking space. The place also offered laundry service for free. Very close to restaurants and bars. Staff helped arrange a golf cart rental to get around. Also assisted with taxi to and from the condo.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good. Extremely clean. And the reef they have developed at the end of their pier made our snorkeling experience amazing.

Staff was amazing ready at any moment to respond to questions and requests. Beautiful location right on the beach, grounds were immaculate. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Appreciated the complimentary bikes kayaks and paddle boards.

The property was beautiful, clean and well maintained on a daily basis by housekeeping. Rose, Lorena and Susy were super helpful and very responsive at all times! They even surprised me with beautiful birthday decorations in the room.

Loved the suite we got. It had all we needed and more. Kayak, Sup, snorkling, club car, great internet, full kitchen up to the small detail it's all there no extra pay needed. Had best weekend in a long trip.
