Staff was amazing ready at any moment to respond to questions and requests. Beautiful location right on the beach, grounds were immaculate. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Appreciated the complimentary bikes kayaks and paddle boards.

I would highly recommend staying here! The location was just outside the busy village which was great for us. Very quiet and mellow. The beach was beautiful and clean. Chabil Mar Villas has a free shuttle to get into the village starting at 4 pm which was perfect for us to go have dinners in town. During the day, you can ride their bikes or rent a golf cart. Our villa had everything we needed, especially the full kitchen with a washer and dryer. If you don't feel like cooking, they had room service with a full menu that you can order and have it delivered anywhere on the grounds. Everyone was so friendly and helpful!

I can't say enough about Mark and Sheila. I felt like I was staying with friends and family rather than being at a hostel. Everyone was included in all the activities we did together. Plus, having beers in the pool was a great time. I will always be staying at The Royal Rat when I return to Placencia.
