The hotel owner, manager & staff were extremely helpful. Olivier was kind enough to pick me up at bus station and drop me at bus station when I left. Olivier has been helping me even after I left. Providing me with information when I was in other cities. Breakfast in the garden was amazing & refreshing. The garden so beautiful. I could't ask for a better stay and for better hosts who cared about making me happy and comfortable. If I come back to Rwanda, I would definitely go back.

beautiful city on Lake Kivu. Should stay at Goma Serena Hotel for nicest views and excellent service. A little pricey, but worth spending. Hotels in most countries in Africa are ridiculously expensive. Don't understand why, but irritating. perhaps only a select few make great profit!

Like- Gisenyi is worthwhile visiting for a few days.

Take a boat trip to see the ( small ) fish market and the hot water springs.
Good restaurants along the shores.
Dislike
Waiters coming up to us and telling us we are not allowed to use the water we had wit us.
If you want to do business don’t rub our hair up the wrong way!
