I really enjoyed staying at La Huesped. The one bedroom apartment is situated on the 11th floor of the building........There is an elevator to access the upper floors. The apartment has all the comforts of home. It also has a patio off the bedroom over-looking the area. I enjoyed siting on the patio in the late afternoons and early evenings and feeling the wonderful breeze. The kitchen is stocked with newer appliances, dishes, pots, flatware and utensils. Drinking water is provided by the host which is a big plus for me. The bedroom is nice and large and also has an iron and an ironing board. There is a wardrobe with drawers and shelves; however there is no place to hang your clothes. The sitting room is very comfortable and a great place to stream your favorite movies and shows. During the day, if you open the front door and the patio door, there is a nice breeze that flows thru the apartment. If you use a tuktuk or uber for transportation, the area outside the building is know as Saba-Saba....Vipingo Butcher....the drivers are familiar......also there is a Naivas Supermarket about 300 meters down the road. The host, Benjamin, was very accommodating and was always available to answer any questions or handle any issue that would arise. If asked....'Would I book La Huesped again'......the answer would be yes.

Nothing beats relaxing by the beach! Try find beaches that are not overly populated! If you are alone there are safe areas you can keep your belongings by interacting with the captains of various boats. The captains of the boats are trustworthy

Nyali is a great area for a family stay in Mombasa.

Nyali is a great area for a family stay in Mombasa. Everything felt close and convenient. City Mall, supermarkets, restaurants, family activities, and the beach were all nearby. Travelling with three kids can be stressful, but staying in Nyali made things much easier because we didn’t have to move around too much to find what we needed. The area felt practical, family-friendly, and worth it, especially because Ary Homestay Nyali gave us space, comfort, and convenience at good value.

Everything was superb and more than I expected.

Everything was superb and more than I expected. Staff food facilities the views cleanliness and facilities were all outstanding. The only downside about any beach location is the beach boys who do not leave you alone. But the guards at the hotel make you feel safe.

Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. I had booked for 5 nights fully paid but had to spend one night and forego the 4 nights. They didn’t refund my money though and the didn’t care. Clients be warned!!!

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

Mombasa is a vibrant city with the perfect beach weather. The people are friendly and always ready to help. The transport links to the north of Mombasa ie the bridge could be improved to avoid unnecessary congestion. Otherwise overall very pleasant.

Loved the beach views,Enjoyed nearby beachfront restaurants called Kingston-a stone throw away.Getting around was easy via tuktuks and bodabodas and most places are short drives away. Beach walks, swimming, café hopping, and exploring nearby attractions make it perfect for a peaceful solo getaway.

Its a nice town bustling with activity and its proximity to other amenities such as clubs, many nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops is very nice. Transport is easily available to other parts of the town, very friendly people, a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, barbeque chicken is a favourite and readily available every evening.

Mombasa is an amazing city for a getaway. Have visited severally and its never enough, keep coming back. The hospitality , warm weather, beautiful beaches, easy mode of transportation, wide cuisine, shopping avenues,etc. Rich culture & historical sites to view/visit.
