I really liked the location because it is really close to the nearby attractions such as "La Quinta Avenida", ferry to Cozumel, tourist guides, and local restaurants to eat great tacos, all within a walking distance. I liked that the receptionists were friendly and will always tells to enjoy our day.

Playa del Carmen is a very lively town, and the restaurants and bars are friendly. Food at most venues was good, but not all. The only downside is it is very expensive to eat and drink out every day and night in the town, hence we ate in some nights to keep the budget sensible during our holiday. Beaches we did not use due to the over-growth of the seaweed, which was a real shame, however, they have this problem year in and year out in this part of Mexico, so not fault of any residents or staff members at resorts etc. We organised an amazing boat trip, so were able to swim in the beautiful Ocean of this area, so not all bad!

The restaurant needs better management, Service was terrible most of the guests had to wait almost 2 hours to be served with breakfast. I got tired of that service and started to have breakfast, a better breakfast somewhere else.

This is a nice sized gated community.
This is a nice sized gated community. Comfortable for walking to restaurants & beaches. Street lighting made walking home comfortable, safe environment. Many great restaurants to choose from around the marina.

The quality of foods and drinks , the resurants , the cleaners and the size of rooms and internal activities were excellent.
Unfortunately, the beach was so dirty and full of algae and ocean wastes , it smelled even very bad , it was not possible to swim or have activities in the beach in water. They did not mentioned that in their website !!

I love the crystal clean water, free wifi, beautiful walking streets and local shops, shore access and taste of local food. Just walking the shore you can find a Mayan ruins and architecture to save some money on attractions. This island is a perfect place for vacation

There is so much to do snd see. The local people are very friendly. I did get overcharged at a couple restaurants that i did not know until my bank statement came in. Ie. $35 cdn for 1 smoothie and 1 scoop of ice cream at Haggen Das on 5th.

What a cool spot!
What a cool spot! We are definitely not the all inclusive resort kind of travelling family. So when we stumbled upon Puerto Adventuras, we were hapily impressed. There was so much to do within walking distance. There is a park, kids camps, beautiful beaches, swimming pools, amazing choice restaurants, and an overall really cool vibe.
I liked it because although it felt like - yes this is definitely an international tourist destination - it also felt grounded and down to earth. In addition to the travellers who pass through, many people live and work in Puerto Adventuras giving it a really lovely family neighbourhood feel.

If I could get a job-not being Mexican wipes that out-I'd live here forever. I am torn between my other fave-Machu Picchu-and here. I love it and the fun of scooters makes the whole week great fun. Plus Mr. Taco is so cool.
