We absolutely loved our beautiful accommodation at Korohi Vineyards and meeting our lovely host Ursula. It was wonderful to relax there at the end of our busy days exploring this gorgeous part of the Marlborough region of NZ. Breakfast was great with a range of home made jams. We were sad to leave and sorry we couldn't stay longer.

I recently did a self-guided cycling tour visiting several wineries and local producers, and it was such a fun and memorable experience. One of my top recommendations is Bladen Winery. The tour was super interesting and enjoyable, lasting a little over one hour. It included a generous amount of wine tasting and amazing, welcoming vibes from the owners. At $25 per person, it’s excellent value and a must-visit. Another highlight was Roots Gin. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place is surrounded by a beautiful garden that makes the experience even more special. The gin was absolutely delicious — perfect for a relaxed stop during the ride. We also visited DNA Brewery and Restaurant, which was very good and a great place to take a break and enjoy the atmosphere. To complete the trip, we enjoyed some beautiful gourmet experiences, including Harvest Restaurant, which offered amazing hospitality and a truly memorable culinary experience. Overall, the self-cycling tour was fun, relaxing, and full of great flavours, friendly people, and beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable way to explore the region.

We were cycling. There were plenty of options of trails. We did not have enough time to do them all. It will be even better when the "Whale Trail" is completed (we did part of it). There are some VERY good restaurants in town and around the area. We always choose to do our trips to the South Island in April as the weather is mild and mainly clear skies. This trip through the Marlborough, Nelson & Golden Bay areas was no exception - 2 days of wet weather in 2.5 weeks.

It’s close proximity to the wineries and highways to Picton and Nelson. Such an easy destination to get to from other cities. I really enjoyed Picton and it’s gorgeous Harbour and most of the wineries have excellent food. My fsvourite The Fancy Cow and reasonably priced.

I wanted to extend my stay, but someone else was booked in straight after me. If you want something different to the usual motel or hotel with your own space, picturesque rolling green hills overlooking a vast field of beautiful vineyards, sitting on the deck overlooking it all while you sip away on a Sav as you wait for a nice steak to sear on the BBQ provided for your enjoyment, then this is for you

Arriving from Kaikōura and passing through Blenheim, we followed a stunning coastal road before crossing the rolling hills and vineyards of Marlborough, with breathtaking views along the way. After a calm and pleasant drive, we reached Tuamarina and this charming historic home, which immediately conveys a deep sense of peace and serenity. Zach and Lucy welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness, making us feel at home straight away. Woodside was the perfect place to pause and recharge before continuing on to Nelson and exploring Tasman Bay and Golden Bay. A stay we would gladly recommend to anyone travelling through this beautiful region.

Tuamarina is located 10 minutes from central Blenheim. We had a rental car but we also accessed local taxi services and a wine shuttle service who were more than happy to come pick us up from our location.

Blenheim is a nice sized town and has plenty to offer.

Blenheim is a nice sized town and has plenty to offer. Pollard Park there would be one of the nicest parks that I have ever visited in New Zealand. The gardens and lawns are so well kept and it's a pleasure walking through the park. It is only a five minute drive to the airport, twenty minute drive to Picton and the Marlborough Sounds, and has numerous wineries around the surrounding countryside.
