Traveling with My 1 year old and arriving early, check in wasn’t for a decent amount of time but they were able to thankfully get Me a room ready within a hour and a half. Comes with breakfast. Has a bar and food available for lunch or dinner. There is a kids room which I enjoyed. Not far of a walk from the center and was nice to see the animals. Beautiful view from room!

The facilities were exceptionally clean and fun to be at, including the pool area and breakfast. The view from the balcony was great and we enjoyed both your staff and other guests.

The property was beautiful with extensive thought put behind everything including a wonderful welcome basket, bathrobes, fresh cut flowers upon arrival, separate beach towels, eggs/butter/milk already in the fridge, and a collection of wines to purchase if you run out and don't want to run to the store. Really, just book this place. We plan to come back soon and hopefully specifically to this place!

Great location, super friendly staff, accommodating airplane delay weird arrival times, responsive, and extra towels, bedding, etc available. Kitchen is decently stocked with fruit, cooking and serving utensils and the grocery stores are very nearby.
Charming Blue offers accommodations in Vila do Porto. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Each room is equipped with a TV with cable channels. Some rooms include views of the sea or pool.

Vila do Porto is a little slice of culture located on a small island in the Azores. Brick streets with shops and restaurants line the road. The scenery and food are great. I went for scuba diving which also was amazing.

It’s a small town with more than adequate amount restaurants, places to buy groceries and fresh produce. Some places offer vegan options.
It’s not overly crowded or has a tourist atmosphere or vibe.
You can book excursions at various locations around town if you desire to explore land sites or water activities
You will definitely need a car to explore on your own. There are several rental agencies around.

We enjoyed our stay on this beautiful Island, the people, the beaches, the quaint town with its lovely cafe's and restaurants. We had a great taxi driver Roberto Moniz who spoke English and took us on a day trip around the island, he gave us lots of information and historical facts. We went diving with Haliotis Aventuras Submersas and it was magical swimming with 30-40 mantarays. Hotel Colombo was nice and included breakfast. We stayed 4 nights because of flights only twice a week but did need a couple of extra days to explore. The proprietor at the local pub knew a lot of the Island and its history, great place to eat and drink. We went at the beginning of August and the weather was great.
