The Holiday Inn is in an excellent location for access to local services and dining. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean and well-appointed. (There are chairs next to the elevators on each floor, a thoughtful touch for people who can't stand for extended periods or for people waiting for other guests to join them.) The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Electrical outlets and USB charging outlets over the nightstand were very helpful.

Very romantic inn in a very romantic place. We were a bit worried about noise because of the nearby road, but it has been disguised quite successfully. The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained, the pool area was delightful, and in general it was a relaxing and peaceful stay. Staff was fabulous!

Best Airport ever!

Best Airport ever! But I don't know if I'd like to return to Santa Rosa for vacation purposes. I stayed in Santa Rosa for less than 24 hours during a heat wave, so my review is based on that context. From the very little that I saw of Santa Rosa, it looks like it's spread out and car-accessible. Going from point A to point B isn't walkable. Out of the 4 Uber rides that I took, 2 were problematic to the point that I wasn't able to follow my itinerary ( 1 driver got lost trying to find a State Park ). I hated that experience but Uber eventually refunded the ride after I complained a lot. But more than that I was incredibly disappointed not to have been able to look at the obsidian at the park. I also had to go to the post office, and that was more horrible than usual. Besides that, I was only able to go to the California Indian Museum. It was very informative, but don't expect fancy exhibits. It was too hot to go anywhere else and I didn't really want to take more Uber rides, so I ate at Masala Express next to the hotel. The server was grumpy, but best Indian food ever!

There were many quality restaurants nearby, was a very clean, friendly & welcoming town. Not many attractions or tourist activities to get excited about in this town. Wasn't an issue as we had planned on visiting the Russian River & the Bodega Bay area & were using this hotel for its central location to these two areas. Props to Mom's pies ... their apple turnovers,Apple pie,Peach pie & Pecan pie were all outstanding & will definitely return here when back in this area.

Great location for visiting numerous wineries, restaurants, and shops; Close to hiking Armstrong Redwood Park and scenic drives along the Coast of California. Goat Rock was an added bonus; We loved watching the paragliders in full action above the beaches!

There was so much to see and do around town, highly recommend visiting the Charles M Schultz museum, there was so much we learned about him and his contributions to the community. There's plenty of options for restaurants, you can find everything from bbq to fine dining. Plenty of wineries within an easy drive of our hotel.

Gorgeous small town.

Gorgeous small town. We really enjoyed biking in the hills above the town - gorgeous little backroads that are much better on a bike than a car. Any good cycling website has numerous routes posted. We only did a few but will come back for more. I also liked that it didn't feel crowded at ay point wherever we went.

Windsor is a charming town!

Windsor is a charming town! Very close, literally 7-10 minutes away from Healdsburg. There are good cafes and restaurants. Plus a farmers market. We did a nice hike very close to the Hampton Inn. It felt very safe to drive from Healdsburg especially in the evenings after dinner and concerts.

Healdburg has great restaurants and lots of great wineries to visit. We were also there to bike and there are many, less-traveled but fairly well maintained roads. Traffic was light, even on the weekend - but then we were out before the wine tasters got going.
