IsraelWe liked the fact they had hardwood floors instead of wall-to-wall carpet. The room, towels, bad sheets and bathroom were clean. The bath was big and specious. The location of the hotel is amazing and very close to everything. They also have an arrangement with the hotel next door, so the laundry is free to use.

Great location for visiting numerous wineries, restaurants, and shops; Close to hiking Armstrong Redwood Park and scenic drives along the Coast of California. Goat Rock was an added bonus; We loved watching the paragliders in full action above the beaches!

Gorgeous small town.
Gorgeous small town. We really enjoyed biking in the hills above the town - gorgeous little backroads that are much better on a bike than a car. Any good cycling website has numerous routes posted. We only did a few but will come back for more. I also liked that it didn't feel crowded at ay point wherever we went.

Healdburg has great restaurants and lots of great wineries...
Healdburg has great restaurants and lots of great wineries to visit. We were also there to bike and there are many, less-traveled but fairly well maintained roads. Traffic was light, even on the weekend - but then we were out before the wine tasters got going.

Healdsburg is a gem - lovely square, with an authentic feel of Sonoma county. Great shopping - clothing, antiques, art, books, decor - it is all here in lovely boutiques (no chains or big box stores). Healdsburg is easy to access and explore from as a base. It is great for walks, hikes, bike rides, shopping, dining - casual and deluxe. Arts scene is developing nicely with Jazz concerts, the new True West theatre, local music (the square concerts in summer are quite nice).

Wonderful restaurants, nice small independent shops and many local wineries. Easy to get around. Had great meals at Bravas Tapas, Troubadour for dinner, Cyrus in Geysterville and breakfast at Flaky Cream Donuts. Good pastries and bread at Quail and Condor.

This was our first visit to Healdsburg and we were delighted. The hotel stay was conveniently located so we were able to walk to the scheduled venues - dinner and holiday party. Managed to find a convenient parking space as well. We will be back.

Fairview Inn responded quickly to my requests, arrival time and especially not to have stairs to the room (there is no elevator). This is a two-story motel-type property, we were on the ground floor. Parking in front of room. In February it was not busy, we stayed 1 night. Friendly staff. Room clean, tidy, king bed comfy, bathroom also clean and amenities provided. It was close enough to the middle of Healdsburg that we could walk into town for dinner. Reasonable price for the room. Would stay there again.
