The rooms were clean and well equipped with hot water, plenty of power outlets, a closet with some hangers, toiletries and so on. What stood out to us though was the nice and cozy outdoor space including a little patio on stilts in a fish pond and a nice garden with plenty of fruits.
The location is very quiet and scenic but not really a walkable distance to the city centre. We just got a motor scooter for 4-5€ per day but taking a grab also works well.
Another highlight was the housekeeper Mr. Hoang who took great care of us and made a lot of efforts to improve our stay. Upon departure we shared some advice with the manager and where told the improvements where implemented upon suggesting them so that’s another plus.
All in all, a great stay if you want something a little more relaxed but still within a few minutes scooter ride if all the main attractions and spots.

The receptionist “Tuyet” was very polite, professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel price was reasonable and walking distance to “LOTTE Mart”, Vung tau market , night market and multiple restaurants.
Good place for short stay in Vung Tau, we've stayed at The Cap several times. Nice & clean room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast also. Thank you guys for your service.

Great resort overall despite the rundown state of the internal room fittings. Kitchen cabinets cannot be closed and stainless steel balustrade showing signs of rust across the resort.
Pool and beach access is easy with good landscaping.
Location is far from all amenities

Vung Tau was nice but you have to know where to stay.
Vung Tau was nice but you have to know where to stay. I choose the hotel because it was close to beach but there were two beaches. The nice beach is at Phap Tam Thang where the nice shops and restaurants are. It was a school holiday time so there were concert and many food stands set up. it was like a national festivals, family with young children were all out celebrating and having fun.
I real wonderful experience. Love it

It's a nice getaway from Saigon.
It's a nice getaway from Saigon. Beach is decent, not too clean and packed in the weekends. If you have business in Saigon or plan on flying out and don't wanna go too far away it is pretty ideal.

Vung Tau is an authentic Vietnamese tourist location---not yet overcrowded by international tourists---catering especially to the local residents from HCMC, so that it serves also as a weekend get-away. Unfortunately, most transportation arrangements require 3 hours for that 92 km trip despite the availability of toll roads....
