It was a home away from home. The place is very beautiful, the pictures do not do justice to the place, it is very clean and it is situated in a very good neighborhood. The owner was very kind and accommodating she even gave us pocket money when we checked out because we were travelling far. I highly recommend this place and i would go back again.

I was scammed.

I was scammed. I don’t know why booking.com allowed these crooks to scam people that house is an abandoned property. Phone number not going through, hooting by the gate no response. I’m so disappointed that I’ve lost my money for nothing.

Duzi Park Run was the highlight of my trip.

Duzi Park Run was the highlight of my trip. I wish the hotel could arrange transport to Longmarket Girls School, the point for the Comrades Marathon shuttles. With road closures, getting to the shuttles was a pain

The Misty Spur's Manager and staff members are just só hospitable. Ons het boodskappe gekry van gevaar op die N3 agv die emigrante onrus én ons moes wag vir 'n hokkiewedstryd. Terwyl ons wag, kon ons die Spur se wifi gebruik en hulle het cappuccino en ontbyt bedien!

If you are chasing tranquility , it is a place to be... Very neat and specious rooms. It is efficient with friendly house keepers. We are definitely coming back soon... it's suitable for a group of friends or family and for a couple or couples. Such a beautiful place, at a reasonable price , thank you.

The place is pleasant, but Room 3 that was allocated to me it's not great and not comfortable. Bed linen too old and dull. Pillows a disaster. 3 adults supplied with one bath towel and one hand towel. claustrophobic

Pietermaritzburg offers a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful greenery, and a strong sense of history. The city has great potential, with friendly people and a central location between Durban and the Midlands. I especially enjoyed the natural scenery, parks, and slower pace compared to bigger cities. Areas that could improve include road maintenance, cleanliness in some parts of town, and creating more modern entertainment and tourism attractions. Overall, it’s an underrated city with charm, character, and plenty of opportunity.

Close that bathroom door and you will be pleasantly...

Close that bathroom door and you will be pleasantly surprised what you will see. So many small things the managers included and put their thoughts into the layout to make it so user friendly and exceptionally comfortable. Close to Hilton College where I needed to be for a concert - to location was good for my need after all and will recommend this place to anyone.

The place is in a very quiet and peaceful enviroment, if you love nature like garden, trees and farming thins is the place. Clean swimming pool, hot water and plenty bathrooms depending on how many rooms you have booked, kitchen essentials. Braai area n fire woods You need to bring everything that you need because it is not near the city

The roads around and in Pietermaritzburg are sadly not too...

The roads around and in Pietermaritzburg are sadly not too good and clearly maintenance. We did not visit any other places except for the Sagewood Cafe where we met with a family member who lives in PMB. This proved to be a good choice too.

The area is safe and absolutely stunning.

The area is safe and absolutely stunning. Plenty of facilities in the area. Could not believe how clean and how many people are walking, running and cycling in the area. Very close to Midmar Dan and Albert falls.
