Mirtilos Studios & Apartments is in an excellent location, just a one-minute walk from the restaurants, cafés, and shops in the center of Kissamos, and only about five minutes from a beautiful beach. Despite being so close to everything, the area is quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, which is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with free sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool bar was also a great addition, offering drinks throughout the day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and a lovely sea view. The property is clean and well-kept, with rooms cleaned almost daily and fresh towels and bedding provided. The grounds are also beautifully maintained. The bed was a little firmer than we prefer, and the bathroom was somewhat small, but these were only minor issues. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this property to anyone visiting Kissamos.

We enjoyed our stay. The facilities and the room were beautiful, everything looked quite new. We didn't get to use the pool but everything looked very nice.

We had a nice stay here, as a couple. The owner was very kind, he waited for us to arrive, welcomed us with traditional sweets and drinks, and gave us a great introduction with lots of recommendations for places to visit and eat nearby. Everything was very well organized: we even received information in our own language, plus maps. He also provided us with sun umbrellas, which was very thoughtful. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The parking is nearby and you can easily find parking spots.

Great kind hosts, super clean & fully equipped kitchen in a brand new building with high end building materials. Spacious room and huge balcony was a big plus. It will be an awesome place for a long term stay. Comfortable bed. Convenient location to explore north west and west sides of Crete.

Everything was perfect, we were heartedly welcomed and we immediately felt like home. The apartment itself is new, clean, has everything that you need, and ours had 3 balconies with one with a stunning view on the sea, perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The apartment is very well located, close to the beach, city center, supermarket etc. Irene is a wonderful host, very welcoming, always available when needed and she treated us with some sweet and savory cretan specialties throughout our stay. We stayed there 5 nights, end of august and we recommend this place and would love to come back!

The location of the places was great! Close to amazing beaches such as Balos and Elafonissi. We really appreciate Mrs. Alexia, she was really helpful and kind to us and gave us really good recommendations of restaurants and places! Also, it's a plus that the beach is just in front of the apartment. Kissamos it's a great place to stay

Big rooms, super clean, superb host!

We stayed at Villa Artemis, right by the beach. There is a lovely sandy bay, along with umbrellas and sunbeds reserved exclusively for the villa.

Loved the windmill that we stayed in and really enjoyed having a private patio and pool. Plenty of outdoor seating options The cats on the property made the stay perfect. Such a joy to have them around!

Kavousi resort was wonderful! The staff was amazing and very helpful. The hotel was clean and the location was also great! The area was quiet so it was perfect for a relaxing stay. Definitely try the breakfast!! Highly recommended overall!

Two Beautiful houses set on the Falasarna coast line with the most beautiful views of the ocean and the sunsets are to die for !! Hosted by Kalliopi and her assistant Maria , we were treated like family at the Stomade. The heated jacuzzi at 28.c is a definite plus as the beach was mostly for walking and exercise. The sea water was a cool 19.C or 67.F . The well equipped house had all the amenities needed to enjoy our 5 nights stay, a large yard with 2 hanging lawn chairs , There was even a bbq at our disposal . We definitely recommend the STOMADE HOUSES .

We stayed 5 nights in 2-level apartment Room 9 with a terrace above the pool and were very comfortable. It is a relatively small family-run place -- clean, relaxed and charming. The simple mini-resort is a little bit off the beaten track so is very quiet. The upper bedroom has a beautiful morning and sunset view. Alexandros and his wife are lovely and accommodating hosts, and do anything they can to make your stay pleasant. The breakfasts were tasty and reasonably priced -- dakos, yogurt with fruit/honey, omelette. Falassarna is less than a 10 minute drive away and the Taverna Spilios 5 minutes away is delicious. Elafonshi Beach is a doable day trip. As other reviewers have said, you really need to rent a car to stay here - we used Vacanza car rentals from Chania and it was perfect for us. Petras Resort was a fantastic holiday location for the two of us, it made our Crete holiday delightful.
