Loved this this laid-back place, just outside Sigiriya. The family helped us arrange a tuktuk in the early hours for the hike up Pidurangala Rock and recommended visiting Sigiriya Rock for sunset, which was amazing. The cottage was comfortable, the pool fantastic on these hot, sultry December days, and the wildlife amazing: monkeys, peacocks, and nearby elephants which we glimpsed in the dark. Best of all was the delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food, and the kind and friendly family. It is a little way out of the village but this is easily accessed by tuktuk. It is Aldo nice and quiet. Highly recommended.

The cabins are clean and well appointed to Western standards, while the environment is natural and green and feels like a eco resort. It’s close to the main road but also a bit in the village so you can chat with friendly folks and see a bit of real life. The host is very genuine and generous, his cooking is good, the outdoor kitchen is a great place for breakfast or take a cooking class. A quality place in Sigiriya.

Location is perfect, comfortable but still very quiet. The hut is located in a dense garden. Room is beautiful and complete, good shower and mattress. Breakfast is gorgeous and the host family is lovely ♥️

This cabin is amazing. It's a place you'll want to live in. It's completely in the middle of nature. It's very well equipped. It also has a beautiful view of Sigiriya Rock even from the bed. What was more surprising, was the care and helpfulness from the owner Peter and the caretaker Sumith.
