It really is a great location. Takeda station connects two different train lines, one which can take you to Kyoto, and another that can go to Nara. As a home base, it was a great starting point. The actual room itself is extremely comfortable as well, and the convenience can’t be beat for a long stay.

A very spacious and comfortable stay — I absolutely loved the overall experience. The location is excellent, close to all amenities (7 eleven, Family mart, shopping and public transport, and not too far from Kyoto Station. Being right by the riverside is a big plus, offering a perfect spot for morning walks or runs.

Beds were comfortable and the complimentary coffee was great! We love espresso in the morning so having a De’Longhi was amazing! Spacious and clean, I would recommend anyone staying in Kyoto to stay in this place especially because of the location in Gion! So many great eats nearby as well!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly and everything was easy to understand. The room was spacious and clean and the location was very convenient. It was about 10minutes from the subway and close to some restaurants. We are very happy with our stay in kyoto and thank tge staff for the awsome stay:)

Location was excellent as it was close to main Kyoto train station and another smaller train station. Room had excellent facilities including a washer and dryer, dyson hair dryer, coffee machine, deodoriser for clothes (to get rid of smells), and an excellent toilet and bathroom. We also liked having the extra space with the couch area too. The bathroom was spacious and it was great to have a separate toilet and sink area. The beds were very comfortable. We felt all of the amenities were the best we encountered in our stay overall in Japan. Staff were also friendly and helpful and assisted us to arrange luggage transfers to Tokyo. The hotel also allowed storage of luggage before and after check in / check out.

Great location. Few minutes walk to the chair lift/monorail station to view Amanohashidate sand bar. Property is fully equipped with good kitchen, washer/dryer and also located next to river and can see the draw bridge open/close to allow boats thru.
