This ground-floor apartment is excellent. It is clean and comfortable. It has parking! It is a short walk to the business district/downtown. Groceries are steps away. It had all we needed for cooking. It was easy to be in touch with the host before arrival and after. Thank you, Rita, for that! I certainly recommend this apartment!

First and foremost - Claudia is the best host we have ever met! She was so kind, always smiling and taking care of our needs, sending us a long list of recommendations, really caring from the bottom of her heart ❤️ Then, the accomodation looks so much better in real life than in the pics, it was a really nice experience to collect eggs and feed the chickens and talk to Lara the queen of parrots. We also enjoyed the relaxing jacuzzi, and we were even able to use the laundry room free of charge! This is the best place in Sao Miguel we're sure!

We had an exceptional stay at Casa da Galeria. The staff were a real delight and very welcoming, the service of a palace, no less! We read that the breakfast was excellent and had high expectations that were not only met but exceded.
