The view is breathtaking! We stayed at the small cabinet with bunk bed and it was so cozy and nice. The cabinet was very clean, including all the sheets and towels. The bed is also soft and comfortable. We booked the cabinet without a bathroom because we were only coming back to sleep and used the common bathrooms which are very close and surprisingly very clean and spacious. However, they also have the bigger cabinets if you would like a private bathroom.

Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

We liked everything. The host was helpful, gracious and kind. He filled the refrigerator with fresh food and drink - meat, juice cheese and fruit. He invited us into his house, introduced us to his family and we had a lovely conversation. Allowed us to use his private dryer as there isn't one in the cabin. The view is amazing. Right on the fjord. We had a very nice work to the beach and pier.

A very unique property with plenty of room for our party of 4 adults needing 3 separate bedrooms. Access to Alesund city center was an easy drive, while the quiet island location of the house afforded a peaceful getaway. A great alternative to a hotel stay and we appreciated the cleanliness of the home as well as the amenities.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. It was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was perfect with beautiful waterfront views and great hiking nearby. Jack was a very pleasant host. As we were the only customers during that night, we had full "private" access to the entire facilities (jacuzzi, extremely large TV and excellent sound system, small fitness room, kitchen,...). Quiet like no other place, very comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well furnished, clearly stuffed by someone that uses it themselves. The amount of facilities is outstanding.
