So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.

We were upgraded to a superior room with a great balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast in a room again overlooking the lake. Nice touch that booking a participating hotel includes the local transit pass (Ticino) which gives free travel on the local train travel and discounts for things like the funicular to the San Salvatore summit.

At first sight the building looks old. But the apartment inside are well maintained. And you have everything what you need. Stayed 2nights in August and you dont need to go anywhere else. You can relax by the pool and lake. The water in the lake was warm. So it was nice. Alessadra the host was so kind and nice. She give us a welcome Prosseco which she produced in italy. Really good. You can buy more from her. I really recommend. And the view from room 513! O so nice 🥰
