Beach Hotels in Old Town

Accomodation exactly as described, in one of the nicest parts of Eastbourne. Great communication from the host, and I had no issues accessing the accommodation by myself. Would stay again when I next visit family.

The staff was absolutely lovely. Very accommodating, helpful, and pleasant. Watched our bags when we arrived before check in/pub opening and left to go walking. Gorgeous old building. Room was immaculate and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, wardrobe, and coffee station. Very conveniently located--both walking distance and an easy bus ride from downtown/Eastbourne Station, plus it's right next to a Waitrose. Also was very easy to get to the start of the Seven Sisters walk by bus. The stop is just across the street. Would absolutely book again if in the area!

Excellent hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They gave us really good tips in where to go and even provided us a ride to one of our destinations.

From the moment that John opened the door to the moment Anne said goodbye at the gate, we were made so very welcome, it was just like being with family. The Manse is a beautiful house, the standard of the furnishings and fittings is extremely high, yet not extravagant or gaudy. Breakfasts were exceptional. Our room (no. 2) was very well appointed, with a most comfortable bed.

The location was wonderful -- only a short walk to the beach, the South Downs Way, the Eastbourne promenade, Helen Gardens, and the Meads Village shops. There's also an Eastbourne Sightseeing bus stop very close by. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable -- a great base for exploring!

Nicely appointed garden flat. Close to everything. Ten minutes to the beach and the train station was a 2 minute walk. Great hosts.

A beautiful, cozy cottage in Eastbourne. Easy to get to from the train station, yet also close to both the beach and the best parts of the city. The beds are ever so comfortable and the living room ambience glowed. Would love to stay again.

It’s a roomy vintage hotel, and the manager was kind enough to upgrade my room since it was available. They have two sitting rooms in the ground floor, an elevator, a nice dining room where they serve breakfast, including eggs & sausage if you wish. Their dining room is open on weekends, but I missed that, so no review for that. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which is lovely. Plus the sightseeing bus has started to run for the season.

Great location for the Congress and Devonshire Theatres-the reason that we stayed in Eastbourne. Had dinner on the Sunday. Outstanding!
