Just 30 yards from the seafront in a quiet street, only 5 minutes walk to Pier or Redoubt Fortress and a short walk to the centre of town and rail station. Numerous restaurants, pubs and bars are just a step away. 27 m outside our door is the beach the quintessential victorian Golden Pier stretching out to sea is moments away, grab fish and chips or a scoop of gelato or be tempted to play in the classic game arcade with its 2p machines or just sit and gaze out to sea. Walk a little further and you will find another of Eastbournes gems - our iconic semi - circular Bandstand built in 1935 with its striking blue-domed-roof hosting year round music events and amazing weekly firework displays throughout the summer. Eastbourne has a wealth of cafes, eateries and restaurants our guets have recommended the Bistrot Pierre 4 minute walk away enjoybeautiful views out to sea from the terrace, local traditional pub The Marine 2 mins away serving traditonal pub classics including a highly recommended fresh fish and chips in golden batter, steak pie and roasts. Frequently praised is Gr/Eat a popular greek restaurant a short 13 minute walk from our door. Eastbourne Theatres are always popular with The Royal Hippodrome 500 metres away. The famous contemporary Towner Art Gallery is 18 minutes. The Sovereign Harbour Marina and waterfront are a short drive or bus, its the largest composite marina in northern europe with a variety of waterside restaurants, bars, cafe with shopping brands like TK Max. The iconic Beachy Head is a 8 minute drive or you can easily catch a bus on routes 12, 12A or 12X from the seafront or town centre stops. A short distance west of Beachy Head is the Seven Sisters and Birling Gap witness panoramic views across the English Channel. The vibrant city of Brighton is a 35 minute train journey typically with 2 to 4 trains per hour during peak daytime. Scenic coastal bus 1 hour 15 minutes through the South Downs National Park to Brighton.
