Beach Hotels in Woolacombe

Room was perfect. Nice size shower and bed very comfortable. Family feel and Kingsley the dog was so lovely. Breakfast was excellent! Very polite staff we liked the food so much booked an evening meal.

The moment we step in the property to the moment we leave it’s was like home away from home. People at this facility are so nice. I meet Mr Ludek he was serving my drink in evening very nice person. Breakfast and dinner I meet with entire staff and they all were excellent Mr Tom young man with positive energy. He forgot my English mustard or French mustard to bring on my table. But I still appreciate his energy saying it would have ruin my steak if I would have gave you the mustard. He is awesome. Ms Marylin gave me phone charger to charge my phone. This property not only have good location but crew is making this place on top experience. Can’t wait to be back in Woolacombe. And in addition must stop at the teal farmer market on your way from London to woolacombie.

The location of the Lundy House is incredible - perfectly situated within walking distance of both Woolacombe and Morthoe! I would recommend to book one of the upper floor rooms, as your view is then totally unobstructed looking out to the ocean, which is priceless in this area as it is stunning. The hotel is very dog friendly, and the staff are wonderful with your dogs and care a lot to make your experience a friendly one - there are multiple walking areas for the dogs within a 1 minute walk out the door, and a lovely terraced garden immediately out back to explore. The beds are very comfortable and you couldn't find a more 'I'm at home' cozy feel here. I am definitely coming back next year!

It’s a lovely house and the landlords made the family feel at home the minute we stepped in. Double room for us downstairs and two adjacent bedrooms for our teenage children upstairs. Another couple was staying and we shared the drawing room/bar with them to watch the semi finals of Euro 2024. Very clean and pleasant home, great breakfast, good hiking, a few minutes by car to the beach.

Everything was of a high quality and really nicely done

It has everything you need including a decent coffee machine and a washing/dryer machine. When we arrived there was a small milk bottle, coffee capsules and dishwasher tablets which is very handy!

Lovely view of the sea from the balcony, very well equipped first floor flat just minutes away from the beach. The shed downstairs had beach stuff such as surf boards and wind breaks and they kindly let us store a bicycle in there. Lots of info about the surrounding area, walks, restaurants etc. We ate at The Beach House which was outstanding.

Delicious breakfast, cooked to perfection. Jonathon was so lovely. Bed was really comfortable. Hotel was very clean for an old building. All staff very friendly and helpful. pool was spot on, didn't use outdoor one but had a look- very nice.

This is a great little gem. Location is absolutely excellent. Literally just over the road from bars, restaurants and shops. A short walk down to the beautiful beach. The place is spotless, lovely decorated and spacious. We loved the bathrooms. Beds are comfortable and everything is beautifully kept. We will absolutely be looking to come back.

The surroundings and the ambience of the building were superb. We particularly likes the wild fowel enclosure and gardens.

Hard not to like. Clean, amazing views and great spa.

I was a little apprehensive about booking this location at first, I saw the picture and skipped by. We went back and decided we would give a try. So glad we did! What an awesome experience. We arrived and was greeted by Michael (I believe he was one of the owners, not sure). We stayed for 3 nights and Michael was one of the most responsive people I have ever come across while staying at a hotel. He and the other staff went out of their way to make sure everything was okay. They made us feel like we had all of their attention. Can not praise them enough! The hotel rooms were spotless and seemed brand new. The food was excellent, service excellent and it was in a great location; what else can you ask for. Highly recommend this hotel!
