Hazelmere house is perfectly positioned to explore the North Devon coastline and enjoy numerous North Devon attractions. Clay pigeon shooting, pony trekking, horse riding, segway are all on the doorstep. Ilfracombe’s pretty harbour offers fishing charters and pleasure cruises around the coast or to Lundy Island in the season; voted No.6 in Europe and No. 20 in the world by travellers in 2020, Woolacombe Beach, one of the best in the UK and renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities, is only a 5 minute drive. Take the popular Tarka Trail for cyclists and walkers, visit Exmoor National Park, Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and other beaches such as Saunton Sands, Croyde and Westward Ho! It also boasts free unlimited access to nearby Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park (Easter hols to end of October half term). This includes full use of indoor and outdoor pools, shop, clubhouse, restaurant and bar (please contact us on arrival to gain access). As well as ample parking for more than four cars on site, it offers private parking for one more off-site (ten minute walk downhill to the village).

Arranged over 3 floors, the accommodation is elegantly appointed throughout. The open plan living space is furnished with comfortable sofas, 50” TV (Freeview, Netflix and DVD available) and woodburner. In the well equipped kitchen/diner, there is a 6 seater island, range cooker, gas hob, electric oven, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, double butler sink and Nespresso machine. In the dining room, wall to wall picture windows bring the glorious Devon countryside to you while you eat. This space also provides an additional lounge area with 30” TV and DVD player. A downstairs utility room houses washing machine, tumble dryer, shower room, WC and basin. family bathroom over-bath shower On the 1st floor, bedroom 1 has a double bed, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom (double shower, and double ended bath), French doors leading out onto a stunning terraced balcony. Bedroom 2 has a King (2 singles on request); and bedroom 3 has a double. On the 2nd floor, bedroom 4 has 3 singles and a pull out bed (ideal for kids). Outside, a paved patio with seating for 8, brick built BBQ, outdoor toys, lawned garden backing onto woodland provide an outdoor space to enjoy. A single garage offers storage space for surfboards and bikes. Dogs are welcome on request only and charges apply.
