Beach Hotels in Collingwood

Very helpful receptionist who was very understanding when our friends had mistakenly booked for the wrong month. Gave advice about alternative places.. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Michael & Misha are generous hosts, the property is very well cared for, it's just off the main road but incredibly private and you are soothed by the sounds of birds and a nearby brook. My cabin had everything one could need includging fresh cookies for afternoon tea~coffee. The recommadation for dinner was great and their location is not only just off Golden Bay but the perfect midway between Cape of Farewell and Collingwood.

We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room was warm and cosy.

The location was amazing. The house was spacious and warm. We made good use of the kayaks. The beds were comfortable.

Outrageous views and crazy weather

We loved absolutely everything about our stay! From the scenic drive into the property, to the walks and kayak trip from the beach we felt completely at ease at this beautiful homestead. The ability to walk to town allowed us to leave our rental car behind for a few days and feel truly immersed in our time in golden bay. We would love to visit again sometime :)

Sanctuary with spectacular views out over Golden Bay. Owners, Elizabeth and Duan made us feel right at home, went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

The house was good for a family vacation, it fit 8 of us very comfortably. Right next to the beach and it was nice they had kayaks to use

Was nice and close to the beach, quiet area, very comfortable cabin.

Heather met us when we arrived (was dark the time we got there) to help carry our bags and show us the way. They had kindly lit the the fire for us so was nice and warm on our arrival. We will definitely be back.
