We booked Accommodation at Beach Lane Apartment for a visiting Pastor from overseas. Leeann was a great host. She was very easy to communicate with. The Accommodation provided was of a very high standard and the location was excellent. Close to the beach so nice views and scenery. Also very tranquil and peaceful. If our church has a visiting speaker from overseas again we will certainly consider booking at Beach Lane Apartment.

The welcome package of drinks including milk for the expresso coffee machine and the beautiful kitchen supplied with top quality cooking utensils and dishes plus small appliances such as fryer and slow cooker made this a chef’s delight. The beds in both bedrooms extremely comfortable. Living room area included very comfortable furniture with enough room for the whole family to stretch out while viewing large screen TV. The Christmas decoration!

Conveniently close to the shops. Free laundry facilities. My family and I had the best sleep!! Cooled down in the pool!! The receptionist was kind and accommodating! The room was perfect for my family!

It was a home away from home. Jane is the first owner I’ve encountered who thought of everything we may need and more including toothbrushes and toothpaste which we did not need but there had we forgotten to pack and bring. Really liked the idea of supplying jandals for us to wear inside 2 bedroom villa. A washing machine with washing powder was so convenient with an outside line and a rack dryer. There was nothing there that I wouldn’t have in my home and more. The place was very clean and inviting. The best location looking out at water and boats from our spot. I enjoyed my daily walks along the waterfront

We stayed at Pohutukawa Batch for 8 days while in town for family business, and it was an awesome place to stay. Even though the weather was cold, windy, and rainy, the batch was warm and inviting, with two heaters that kept us extra cosy the whole time. The batch is fully equipped — unlike some places that only provide the basics. We cooked dinner every night for four people and had everything we needed with no issues at all. We also found the price amazing for everything included — honestly felt underpriced for the comfort and quality we got. The batch was spotless, and the beds were soft and comfortable, giving us some of the best sleeps we’ve had in a long time. If you love fishing, you’ll love the location. It’s just a short walk across the road to the beach. I caught kahawai and trevally — just cast towards the buoys and chur chur! The shower is hot with perfect water pressure, which made coming back from the cold even better. The main town is only a short drive away, so everything is nice and convenient. The owners live upstairs and are warm, friendly, and very chill people, so don’t be shy. We also loved the family photos and learning a little about the history of the house — you can really feel the love and care the family has put into this place. All I can say is highly recommend — definitely 10 out of 10!
