Staying at the. Quinta da Fox was wonderful in every respect!! Our host was exceptionally kind and informative about the Quinta that hads been in his family for hundreds of years and many generations. His stories about it were fascinating. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We warwick eager to return!!

The home is a wonderful, large three-story house (lower level is downstairs but very big, bright and not at all like a typical “basement”) with a lot of room for a lot of people. It was just my husband and me with our tiny dog so we stayed on the main level where there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The decor is very tasteful and because we stayed Christmas week (festive Obidos, 20 mins away was our primary destination), Linda, our awesome host put out adorable decorations. She was always available to assist with anything and the glitch or two that we had, she bent over backwards to take care of. There are different beds to choose from and she has more than enough towels in all the bathrooms. The shower was great, high pressure and hot. The washer and dryer were helpful when staying longer. I wish we stayed in the summer because the pool and outdoor space look amazing. We highly recommend Foz Fancy Fun.

I really enjoyed that the apartment contained all that I needed for the full duration of my stay. Although off season, the heaters worked well and kept me warm. The only 'do differently' would be to have a picture of the main door as I was not sure if I was at the right apartment and if the door code would only work once, hence nervous about trying. Otherwise, everything was well kept and maintained. I would love to come back again and highly recommend this place to others for a mini retreat! Take a dip in the ocean!
