Beautiful peaceful place with amazing ocean view! 💙 Villa is fully equipped; had no problem with Wi-Fi, AC, water pressure / temperature. Generator catching pretty fast when electricity is cut. Cleaning Lady and Maasai Security are very friendly and helpful people. Checking-in and -out both were ultra-easy experiences. Location is awesome! (Sunrise side). Definitely will come back soon!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, always available when needed. From the moment I arrived, the customer service stood out I was treated like a family member, which made the experience even more special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the property felt peaceful and well looked after. It was a great place to unwind and truly feel at home.

I stayed at Blue Moon Hotel Zanzibar, and it truly felt like a little tropical escape away from everything. The hotel has such a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and recharging. The property is well maintained and surrounded by greenery, which really gives you that exotic island feeling. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable — always nice to come back to after a day in the sun. What I loved most was the overall vibe: calm, unhurried, and ideal for a proper отдых where you can just slow down. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help. You can really feel that they care about the guests, and that makes a big difference in the whole experience. Waking up in a place like this, surrounded by nature and close to the ocean, is something special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic stay in a tropical setting, Blue Moon is a great choice. I would happily come back again 💙

A calm and idyllic oasis in magical Jambiani. The hotel is beautifully designed with special attention to small details in their comfortable and spacious rooms. Hosts are incredibly generous with their time and very accommodating, they went out of their way to make our stay special. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend the pina coladas, the boat trip with captain Hassan and morning beach walks. Loved our stay!!!

We had a great stay at Maku Oasis. We booked one of the studios, it was clean, very comfortable, and everything looks just like in the photos. The restaurant was a big highlight for us — the food was excellent, especially the barbecue, which was honestly amazing and very well prepared. We also tried a massage at the small spa inside the compound and it was a really relaxing experience. The staff was very nice. The host was kind and responsive, and everything was easy from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We spent 3 wonderful days at Zen Boutique Resort. The food is amazing whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The swimming pool is large and very pleasant . The rooftop bar with a sunset view is exceptional. Sarah and her team take great care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The owner has clearly poured a lot of heart into the design, successfully capturing a laid-back island vibe complemented by sleek, modern touches. The environment is lush and incredibly clean, providing a serene backdrop for those famous Zanzibar sunsets. What truly sets Casa Rody apart is the staff. They are remarkably accommodating and proactive. Whether it was a standard request or something the hotel didn’t have on-hand, they went above and beyond either sourcing items specifically for us or providing perfect directions. Having the owner present and attentive added a personal touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. • The Food: Finding high-quality, consistent dining in Zanzibar can be a challenge, but the kitchen here is exceptional. The food was so good that we chose to eat every single meal at the hotel. • The Beach: The location is prime. The stretch of beach in front of the hotel is pristine, making it easy to enjoy the turquoise waters in a clean, quiet setting.

I like the view, the pool and bar facilities were awesome. The staff was extremely attentive with all requests and professional. The food was also good.

The room quality was outstanding—immaculately clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Every detail was clearly thought through to ensure a relaxing experience. You can tell a lot of care goes into the experience. I also felt very safe throughout my stay, which is incredibly important when traveling. The location is another huge plus—convenient, accessible, and close to everything you might need or want to explore. What truly sets this hotel apart is the level of service. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely accommodating to every need. They made me feel welcome and cared for the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and top-tier hospitality. Craig & his family make you feel like family as well. I loved the serenity of the environment. The breakfast which was included with the stay was excellent. The outdoor shower was lovely. Best of all, the swimming pool was awesome. They also have kayaks for free and kayaking in the ocean was super enjoyable!

Beautiful hotel in very calm and peaceful place. Nobody would bother you here so you can really relax and enjoy Zanzibar. I had a double room with ocean view and it was fantastic, you can see the ocean from your bed. The room is very comfortable, all furniture is new, there is everything you need. Hotel is ecofriendly and use reusable glass bottles for water. The chef is very professional and cook really delicious food (it was the best food I have tried in Zanzibar). The variety of food is not big but everything is tasty. The chef cooked lobster especially for me and it was delicious. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast, guacamole, banana crepes. I liked everything I have tried. All stuff were friendly. Very bad wifi. I bought a sim card and recommend to do the same if you need internet. It is not about hotel, but ocean here is almost impossible to swim. Take a water shoes if you want to go into the ocean and at least seat there. I spent 3 days here and really love this place. It is really remote from everything so it suit for people who look for peaceful atmosphere. If you like to swim in the ocean I recommend to mix your holiday with different areas as I did.

We had a wonderful stay at Be Zanzibar. Everything exceeded expectations! The owner, who is an architect, thought of every detail and curated a beautiful experience merging his experiences in Mexico and Dubai! They have multiple water sports you can do for free (clear kayak, paddle board, water bikes, etc.), and a dhow if you want to go snorkeling. The food at the restaurant, Casa Coco, was the cherry on top…great selection to choose from and the best Thai fried rice we have had at a non-Thai restaurant. Many thanks to Tarek, Alé, Yahya, and the whole Be Zanzibar family. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back again soon!

We wanted an intimate atmosphere that made you feel relaxed to the utmost. Your facility did not disappoint. Even though construction was ongoing, it did not cause too much of a bother. Thomas, the manager, was very accommodating. He made sure we were taken care of and addressed any issues that may have arisen immediately. The rooms were cleaned daily and promptly, and we loved the personal touches left on the bed with the towel design and fresh flowers. Samuel and the other wait staff, who worked in the morning, were an absolute pleasure to be served by. They were tested by certain individuals in the group, and yet they kept their composure with a smile and pleasant disposition. The evening wait staff was also very patient with the demands that were put before them. Vaul at the receptionist's desk was wonderful. The entire staff was kind, friendly, and enthusiastic about teaching me and anyone else who wanted to learn Swahili. Also, I would like to acknowledge that all the staff at this hotel have mastered the art of positive customer service, which speaks volumes to Manager Thomas's leadership style. He is the best. Thomas, thanks for taking the time to instruct my son on the proper way to do kite surfing using your kite to do so. It showed me that you paid attention to the little details and our potential interests. Because of your kindness and professionalism, If ever I return to Zanzibar, I will choose the Natural Garden Boutique Hotel. I will also recommend it to a colleague who will visit Zanzibar in June. One drawback that is the norm in Zanzibar is the excessive amount of flies that are present while eating. However, we ate lunch at the Rock restaurant and noticed a wooden device carved into the center of the dining table to catch flies. Having a meal at this restaurant was much more enjoyable due to the fly trap. Maybe consider adding a similar device in the kitchen, at the bar, and dining area.
