Fairly quiet at night. Opening both doors made the room very comfortable (it was warm while we were there). WINE everywhere. Breakfast was awesome.

It has a good location, close to everything in the city center and the room that I’ve stayed was really comfortable and clean! It’s safe and practical as well! Keep in mind that the train station in Baden-Baden it’s not close to the city center so if you go by train you will probably have to grab a bus or a taxi to the address.

This family-run hotel is located in the middle of the Black Forest, just a 10-minute drive from the center of Baden-Baden.

Great place to stay. Having stayed here before, I had no hesitation in returning. Fantastic gasthaus for bikers, directly on the B500. Rooms and restaurant are great. Look forward to my next visit.

I had thought the old fashion German Guesthouse hospitality was a thing of the past.. GH żur Krone not only did the owner greet us after checkin time after 9:00 but when we asked if anywhere was still open for dinner she said “I cook for you” allowed us to order off the menu no restrictions, and proceeded to cook us two of the most delicious authentic German dishes we had ever experienced… the classic charm and picturesque surroundings makes it worth the more off the grid location.

The location is perfect. I enjoyed walking the vineyards in the evening. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
