Clean and comfortable with a beautiful view.

The breakfast was fresh, hot, and plentiful. The continental breakfast was perfect to get our start to sight-seeing in Toledo. We also enjoyed the fresh juices and yoghurts!

The host was really friendly and nice. He helped us a lot with our stay in the hostel. Provided guiadence on the city and things to do. Also the garage was really helpful. The facilitied were pretty, and clean. Nothing to complain.

Photos on the booking site don’t represent how much nicer the room are. Theses are classy hotel rooms not a dark room in someone’s house. One I had (last minute booking due to fruit sellers/farmers convention in Madrid all I could find there for this day was 200€ bed in a dorm) was spacious with table & chairs to eat at, nice clean bathroom, good tv and large window that opened for fresh air. You cannot have a better location in Toledo than this hostal. It is in one of the corners of plaza major without the noise you get in typical tourist spots. Front desk staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful which we don’t often get during busy tourist season. Difficult stairs and ramp to get to elevator people mention is not that bad unless you are mobility challenged person or have overly heavy luggages.

Location is perfect, in be middle of old town. Everything it close. The room was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. There's a nice terrace on the roof with a view. Also you can have a good breakfast downstairs.

The upper patio with a view of the cathedral was an amazing place to relax before going to dinner. The staff were also wonderful, very helpful with what to do.

Pictures on the WEB-site should be changed ASAP. They were taken by not qualified photographer. Everything is much better. This is a typical "will/pit shape" authentic hotel. A receptionist speaks in English and is very helpful. They give keys from entrance door and from your room. The "street" in front has maximum 5 meters width. Psychologically, you come back in the past for a few centuries. A local market is located in 200 meters where you can by food:meat,diary,fruits, alcohol, housekeeping stuff etc. We took a taxi (8 EURO from the bus station), but a bus is available also (you will be obliged to walk on the stones' pavement). All sightseens are very close. This is a quiet and safe site. A room was small, but it's OK for one night.I am a picky guy, but I was very satisfied.
