The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They developed a unique, very charming house with a lot of character. You feel at home right away. The hosts prepare a wonderful breakfast and offer facilities for dinner, advice for visits, etc. This a true gem, in a poetic location full of flowers, exquisite charm. A definite must to return very close to Grasse.

The property was picturesque, peaceful and had all the comforts of home.

Our hosts could not have been more accomodating and engaging. The property itself is a marvel with small delights spread throughout. From a boutique tea bar and marvelous breakfast to a welcoming glass of wine, every hope was exceeded. Our hosts were even kind enough to provide a ride to and from dinner once they saw my mother is somewhat immobile. I can not recommend this lodging more highly, it was truly excellent.

This is an older facility that reminds you of the old France. No Best Westerns here. The room opens onto a garden. Best of all, the owners were exceptionally attentive. You will never get better service. Finally, it's within easy walking distance to all the things you'll want to see.

The location was in a quiet area, but within a 10 minute walk to the middle of shopping, eating & activities. We loved breakfast on the patio. The hostess was very kind and happy to talk, but not too much. We opened our doors to a small balcony and it was a beautiful view.

Perfect location. Lovely guest accommodations. The fridge, microwave and plates, knives and forks were welcome to cool drinks and have a little supermarket meal. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful.

Coming to France is always wonderful, but La Thebaide made the experience even greater. Living in this country-side house, with the lush and peaceful garden, and the cozy owners Claire and Yvan, was one our best stays ever. It’s exactly as you imagine life in “the French country side”, it’s just perfect! You can feel that this is a place where Claire and Yvan put their soul, hard work, and attention to. I couldn’t imagine going to Grasse and not staying here, especially if you’re living in a hotel. How much of the French spirit you would miss :)

The property is modern , nice with a lot of attention so that everything is comfortable, the room was large with a double sofa that can be opened for a double bad or closed for a very comfort seating. The room had its own balcony with beautiful view. It is near the center of Grasse and the parfumeries. The owner loves to cook

This stay was definitely a WOW. The attention to detail and welcome that Paul and Valerie provided were unparalleled in our experience.

Marie is a wonderful host, we only stayed one weekend but it was hard to leave. She made us feel at home the moment we arrived, seems like a friend we have known forever. It was so much fun cooking (another guest Francesco made us special italian pasta) and dining together by the pool. The view is absolutely stunning, everything is an invitation to relax. It is calm and quiet and Marie takes great care of her property, she puts a lot of effort into maintaining the place especially the gardens and the pool. Her house is a little gem and we can't wait to go back and just stay by the pool admiring the view. And also to hear her funny stories too !
