This is such a lovely B&B. We stayed here the night before going to a wedding nearby and had such a relaxing night/morning. We arrived quite late but Anthony couldn’t have been more accommodating. The rooms were super clean with nice comfy bed and the breakfast was so delicious, probably one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve had.

The breakfast was fantastic and as advertised. The room was clean, well-kept and overall pretty quiet. The B&B is a short walk (10min) to town so perfect location - just outside the town for quiet but close enough to walk to the pubs, etc.

Whitaker Lodge offers accommodations in Swinford, 6.5 miles from Martin Sheridan Monument and 6.6 miles from Foxford Woolen Mills Visitor Center.

Our room was small but comfortable with everything we needed for our two nights. It had a large wardrobe and dresser to store/hang our clothes. We appreciated that we could open a couple of the windows on our second night as it got sunny and warmed our room during the day but cooled nicely at night. The house was located far off the road and was very peaceful. We had a lovely view from our room and enjoyed seeing and hearing the 3 donkeys they own. Breakfast was delicious!
