B&Bs in Kanazawa

The staff is nice and friendly. The manager speaks English and allows to keep your luggage before check-in. The place was always very clean and tidy. The room, kitchen and common spaces are spacious. Beds are comfortable, there are extra blankets to use if needed and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a small safe in each bed to keep personal belongings. Because it is close to the station, it is easy to move around and reach any place of interest. There are also restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby.

The lovely modern building is located near the river. We loved the lobby’s interior design and the comfortable and spacious room.

The location is walking distance to the temple district, samurai district, the smaller of two geisha districts, and Katamachi (which is the heart of the city. It was a contactless check-in through video chat. The instructions on how to check in/out were very clear. Breakfast is available for a small fee- just enough to get you started for the day. Room was traditional Japanese, but upgraded with nice amenities. Futons were comfy and came with thick, cozy blankets. It was perfect for us:)

We loved this place so much, a hidden gem. Super friendly staff, clean, on a beautiful street. 100% would go back there! And we loved Kanazawa!

Great cosy guesthouse with a homey feeling. Hosts (and guests) were lovely. I loved our origami activity and discussions. Can't recommend it enough! Thank you so much Nina-san and Masaki-san for the wonderful stay!

Probably the best place we've stayed in while traveling. Host is super reachable by WhatsApp, house is sparkling clean, many amenities, great location in-between the neighborhoods to visit, super good value for money. Host even had one bike available for us, but sadly the 2nd had an issue and as a couple we ended up not using bikes. Would recommend this place to anyone

Very cozy and clean rooms, there was a great attention to detail in the design of the space and everything we needed was available. The location is also nice, within walking distance of main attractions. The staff was friendly and we got some great recommendations for what to do in the area. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best meals of our trip and the menu changed daily so we got to try different dishes as we stayed for three nights. Overall, Kanazawa was a highlight of our trip and we’re very happy that we chose to stay here.

This was a spacious,very well appointed accommodation in a central, quiet location , with especially helpful and kind owners. My departure was delayed by heavy rainfall but the owner insisted I take an umbrella.

Great location - a short bus ride away from Kanazawa station. Unlike Kyoto, we were able to bring our 20-inch suitcases into the bus. Pleasant apartment - it was spacious and had whatever you need for a wonderful stay in Kanazawa. Lastly, the room was clean and well-maintained.

An amazing Ryokan, wonderful hosts. A perfect traditional room, spotless and very well kept. Warm, friendly and helpful owners. Walking distance to the Samurai district and a short bus trip to the market

It was a traditional Japanese house - the whole house, not a room in a house. Easily room for 5-6 people. There were 2 of us. Our host, Yumiko, was wonderfully attentive. She coordinated with us in advance, picked us up at the train station, and even dropped us off again at the end of our stay. She sent us a note the morning after our first night, just to check in.
