B&Bs in Myoko

Incredibly warm and friendly staff, we felt so welcome and comfortable the entire stay. Was great having a large lounge downstairs with a bar and food available so we could gather there together with friends who were staying at nearby lodging. It’s a short walk to all the activity/restaurants on the main drag, and to the ski lift/ticket office. Facilities are older but very clean and we never lacked for anything. We appreciated the fresh hot tea and treats each afternoon in the room, and great breakfast/coffee each morning. Shinja, Kenji, Hitomi and their families were so sweet and incredibly helpful with everything to make sure we had an enjoyable visit. We are planning to stay at Hotel Mumon again on any future visits to the area!

Japow is just what you need for ski vacation. Clean, confortable, very friendly stuff and great location. Not a fancy place. I highly recommend for families

The beds were very comfortable in the big room and the staff was amazing

The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to assist their clients. We poorly planned our transportation, but the staff arranged rides for us even though it's not part of their operations. Also, there is an onsite ski and snowboard rental shop with good prices.

The Guest House Bunk was such a beautiful stay. The lodge itself is very cozy and warm with beautiful decor of shells and unique delicate wall hangings made by the owners wife. The breakfast served in a cozy room with a fire place also the offer of dinner to purchase every night if you would like to stay in after big day on the slopes. To mention Sasa the owner is a fantastic cook. Sasa is very accommodating and is very attentive to where you want to ski each day for he will shuttle you to and fro and also give local advice on the mountains that are best for each day’s conditions. The Main Street of Akakura is a 15-20 minute walk from the accommodation.

If you into snowboarding/ski, this is a great location for that! The staff were amazing! Huge onsen! My husband’s Land Cruiser got stuck in a ditch and they helped my husband with the crazy situation and we are very grateful with them!

The inexpensive onsen nearby, the funky kitchen downstairs, the climbing wall, the environment in general and the cosey building.

Room is very big and cozy. The owner and the family are super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

It was so comfortable and clean, and very well designed. We loved our sauna and cold plunge attached to the earth boat. It was very serene and peaceful looking out into the woods from the bedroom window

The hosts are fabulous people and their level of care exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
