Great location and super friendly hosts

Hosts we're lovely, bed was comfy, room was beautiful, breakfast was good, everything was great!!

I was travelling with my bike and spent one night at the Paardenhof. I am extremely happy I chose to stay there: the location is beautiful and very quiet, ideal to relax after a full day of cycling. Also, it is very close to Zwolle and easy to reach from there. It is ideal as a start or end point if you are exploring the area of the Veluwe. The host was extremely friendly and kind. I found the room very cosy and comfortable, and slept very well. The breakfast was super, I loved it. The owners paid a lot of attention to every detail to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Overall, B&B Paardenhof exceeded my expectations, I would definitely recommend it and I hope to be back one day.

Just returned home from an amazing stay here, I didn't want to leave. The property was spotless, massive comfy beds, the best views overlooking fields, waking up to goats and cows from my window. They were kind enough to let my 15 year old son have his own room, instead of sharing with us, which he loved. We loved staying here, highly recommend and we will definitely return.

Enchanting property!! This is a beautifully restored historic building with all the charm you can imagine. Immaculate and updated interior, with comfortable beds, fully appointed kitchen, and nice bathroom/shower. The grounds have stunning flower gardens surrounded by mature trees, an organic vegetable garden, bucolic pastures with horses and the most quaint castle built in 1623. You feel like you have been transported to another era. There are miles of walking trails that are accessible from the property. The surrounding area is wooded with areas of open pasture. The host was lovely. She took us on a brief tour of the grounds and was very informative about the history of the estate. She cheerfully accommodated our dietary restrictions. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh cheeses and fruit, pastries, jams, and the most incredible yogurt with nut granola!! We came to Heerde to visit the birthplace of my ancestors, and this property was the perfect quiet retreat. I could just imagine my Dutch ancestors walking up the country lane to the castle in the 1650's. Magical.

The apartment was very specious, clean and comfortable, with view to the garden. You can have breakfast in the garden or have a nice evening there. Also drinks and yogurts were in the fridge which was very convenient. We had our food, so it was OK. It is very close to the station, so you will hear trains, however it si a very good location for exploring the area and Wezepse Heide.

The breakfast was amazing, the bikes were a handy addition, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The accommodation is a small room next to a private house. It was very clean and contained some nice things like coffee or chips. The host was very nice. Communication was always fast and friendly. The breakfast was at a small bakery nearby. The quality and value were excellent. The location is pretty good but still quite. You'll reach downtown in about 10 minutes' walk.
