The lodge itself is beautiful. It has a wide deck and amazing views from every room. The breakfast is mixed with homemade items and traditional staples that will please anyone. The beds are comfortable. Guests have access to the kitchen so while we originally planned to eat out for dinner, we instead picked up some groceries and prepared our own meals each night. Kerry was a wonderful, preparing the breakfast and offfering tips on what to visit around the area.

This property was easily the best place we stayed during our New Zealand holiday. The area was quiet and private with a beautiful outlook and quite close to town. The facilities were excellent and we would certainly recommend this stay to anyone travelling in this area.

Really good karma and positive energy! I was cycle touring in a freakin’ storm on the Coromandel and it was SO nice to arrive here, warm up and relax in such a peaceful place. Room was nice with lovely view, shared bathroom was spotless and kitchen well stocked.
