Allegra House is set high on the hill with a spectacular view of the harbour in Paihia. Brita and Heinz are wonderful hosts that really enjoy welcoming you into their home. The breakfast served on the terrace was exceptional. Our room and balcony view overlooking the Bay of Islands(Paihia) harbour was spectacular!! If visiting the area again we would stay at Allegra House!!

Every thing about this place was amazing the location, close to Russell, the folks that own it, were delightful, and accommodation, was beyond comfort.

Location is key here. Close to two beaches and two wonderful walking tracks as well. only 2 min by car to Russell Township itself and about an hour on foot (one can combine two lovely shaded walking tracks for that). Russell's Long Beach (another fab swimming beach) is only about 5 min by car. The room is spacious and has all the amenities one would need for a short or longer stay (sorry no kitchen but there are plenty of good restaurants in Russell). Tapeka is the quiet suburb of Russell and if one is lucky one can view kiwi if going out at night.

Titore Lodge offers accommodations in Russell, a 17-minute walk from Russell Museum. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, luggage storage space, and free Wifi.

We loved the quiet beautiful tree area surrounding with the view of the water. The outdoor sitting area was nice to lounge in and have morning coffee.

Exceptionally place. Wonderful room and property. Very nice owners. Very comfortable place tucked in the country side setting, but near everything you need in the town/region. Really enjoyed my stay here.
