It is a modern building with very big , nice and very comfortable rooms with front view to the vineyards hills and a little village. The large sitting area is bright and feels welcoming, the swimming pool is huge and has the same view as the rooms. The reception staff (Ruth) is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast is great and a short drive to Armamar will take you to nice little places to have dinner. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Spotless sheets & towels with embroidered logo on comfortable beds fit for royals. House is huge complete with quality vintage furnishings topped with awesome view of the estate vineyard & Lamego region. Kitchen is big with full range of good equipment and ample wares enough to hold a gathering. None of the furnishing feels staged for tourists. The breakfast was prepared, laid & timed meticulously for the best freshness. 16 hectares of vineyard are neatly trimmed like a Royal French garden. Icing on the cake were the friendly owners and Beatriz who made our stay memorable. Beatriz has in-depth knowledge and insights about the estate history, wine making and was very approachable. All requests are attended swiftly even during her off-days. Thank you Beatriz, Cristina & his hubby for making our Lamego the highlight of our Portugal tour.

Our stay at the Quinta was the highlight of our 10-day trip in Portugal. Elisabete is such a wonderful host and she really went out of her way to make the visit so special for us. The views in every direction of her quinta and the pool on the hilltop are simply stunning. We appreciated so much the breakfast she prepared with local produces. We will come back with no hesitation next time.

This is an unbelievably beautiful quinta. The views from the hotel (and the excellent pool); the extremely friendly and attentive staff; the breakfast, wines, and charcuterie; complementary coffee/tea, fruit, cookies and port wine at all times of the day; the peace and quiet; the room (ours with a sundeck and very comfortable chairs); an AC that works very well. Everything was essentially perfect. We stayed here for 6 nights and didn't want to leave. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
