MexicoWhat a fantastic stop over on our way to Cappadocia! Clean, comfortable rooms and in an amazing location. We were able to get a great meal and swim all within 300 feet of the hotel. The man who runs the place is incredibly friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Good wifi, delicious breakfast, hot water etc.

This is a small family pension, run by a charming couple, Baba Husseyn and his wife. Location was good, at the end of the peninsula, and very quiet. Within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants, with beautiful views over the lake and mountains.
We had the quadruple room, which was huge, and had a nice balcony, though the bathroom was small. A good stay for a couple of days.

We stopped by egidir on our way to pamukkale and chose Gol Pension to rest for the night. It's a charming place with an incredible view of the lake. Very close to restaurants. And the host was very warm and welcoming, even helping us with our heavy luggage and preparing a massive breakfast spread for us in the morning! Plenty of parking space as well, and our room had a balcony. Even though our stay in egidir was short, Gol Pension and it's owners made it very memorable for us.

Probably the best breakfast we have ever had.Enormous ! Served with such attention to detail and kind hospitality. The 3 sisters who own the Gol Pension are charming ! The lake is spectacular. Altinkum sandy beach is great.
