2025-05-17 This house is a pleasure, beginning with its physical beauty. The exceptional renovation Pete and Anna performed on it did not stint on countless "perfect touches" everywhere. Nothing is lacking for a guest to be comfortable, satisfied and at home. But the real treasure is the couple themselves --attentive but not intrusive, open, warm, funny, INTERESTING -- the perfect hosts. You'll want Google Maps or the like to help you find the house, but if you're in this area of Franc or have an interest in Richard the Lionheart, don't go to a hotel. Come here.

Very clean. Had everything we needed and water and fruit juice in the fridge was a nice touch. We would have liked ‘proper’ mugs as the small tea cups are too hot to hold when filled with hot drinks so we bought two and left them in the cupboard. Superb value and superior to most hotel rooms.

Stephano, the owner/manager, was warm, welcoming and friendly. This was a great start to our visit to this stylish b and b in the lively cathedral area of Limoges. Beautiful design, rooms with a view, good breakfast, shared garden and terrace space make this b and b stand out! Many excellent restos steps away and the Sunday bric a brac market outside the front door made for a delightful visit. Best of all, though, was having such a fabulous responsive host who spoke French and English and made the effort to ensure we had a super visit!

We loved everything about this place from the moment we booked it until we arrived . It’s a magical place only few minutes away from the motorway . The hosts have great taste and thought of every details of our stay . We booked it one hour before and were welcomed like we felt at home with preserved meals to warm up and the following day a delightful breakfast . We left this place knowing we will return to enjoy it longer especially that the host is a great chef (you need to book it advance ) and they have a spa . Really a very surprising gem ! We will come back for sure !

The hosts were super easy to communicate with, even though I only speak a little French. They made everything feel personal and welcoming, with great attention to detail. The house has so much character, plus a fun game room, and the breakfast was warm and friendly — a perfect start to the day!
