Everything! This is a homestay with the most wonderful local family. They were extremely helpful with everything like picking us up from the train station, taking us to the supermarket and even returning us to the station when we left. We spontaneously went hiking together and ended up spending the entire day together. It felt like a home away from home 😊🩷 They even invited us to dinner and sake at a local izakaya - the BEST food we’ve had so far in Japan. Thank you for everything, see you in Switzerland!

Situated on a farm surrounded by nature, it was a tranquil place. Our accommodations were comfy; a private room with traditional futons. We shared the rest of the home with the family and were made to feel like family.

Very cool old house, felt like staying in a part of history. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering to make reservations for us to grab dinner. I only regret that I was too busy to use the onsen during my stay.
