The location was perfect. Service was great. It was nice to have washer and dryer in the room. Price is very reasonable. I will recommend it.

Very nice location, short walk to the nearest metro station and shopping center. Also less than 30 min from Hongqiao airport and train station. Clean facility. And it is very nice to have a kitchen and in unit washing machine.

Walking distance to exhibition centre. so its easy hotel is clean and nice. Staff can speak little english, which is ok.

We traveled with two young toddlers. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had bed rails set up to accommodate our kids. Location was fantastic. Rooms were large and cleaned daily.

I absolutely loved staying at Dayin! Everything was so conveniently located from food spots to shopping areas, which made getting around incredibly easy. The staff were truly amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had forgotten to bring towels, but they provided free disposable towels every day, which honestly felt like a luxury. I’d especially like to commend Jing, Niu, Yi, and Ze, along with the rest of the team, for their exceptional kindness and hospitality. They even allowed us a free late checkout since our flight was in the evening, such a thoughtful and considerate gesture. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting!

This was my second time visiting Shanghai, and honestly, this place made the whole trip even better. The apartment was super neat and cozy—the kind of space that immediately makes you feel at home after a long day out. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully set up. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always responsive and genuinely kind. You can tell they really care about their guests. The winter of Shanghai can be a bit chilly, but the heating inside worked great and kept the place warm and comfortable the whole time. One of the biggest highlights is the location. Right downstairs there are tons of bars and restaurants—Japanese food, New American–style cuisine, you name it. There are lots of people coming and going, including many international visitors, which gives the neighborhood this lively, urban vibe. You really feel the pulse and charm of the city here. The apartment is also right in the heart of the city, with extremely convenient transportation. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Line 2 of the metro, and the walk itself is lovely—you pass through a quiet lane lined with plane trees and classic old villas. It’s one of those walks that makes you slow down and appreciate where you are.

The location is super central and the apartments are in a local Shanghainese house. We were staying at Yunnan room and it was great to have breakfast in the veranda during sunny days. I enjoyed also the common area with kitchen and dining table. Staff very supportive. Good value-price-comfort-location

It’s a little off the main road and the taxis Couldn’t find it but it’s close To lots of little shops and restaurants. It’s a busy area but not congested with people like other areas Staff very nice and helpful

Wonderful eclectic, funky old property on a side street in the French Concession near restaurants, coffee shops and public transportation. The staff was friendly, helpful, and generous….we looked forward to seeing them each day

The staff was fantastic and so nice. The apartment was much larger than I expected and had everything I needed for my longer stay. There were lots of coffee shops and conveniences around the property. it was a perfect distance from the school. I was attending just a 15 minute walk

The flat is very practical and Lily was so helpful and hospitable. She was ready to provide solutions and advice whenever needed and we appreciated that so much.

The location, the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff

It was near the Metro Station Line 2 Exit 10. There are nearby malls and restos. The guy who assisted us was so accommodating.
